Beach Vacation

This was a great house for my granddaughter and me to enjoy a quiet couple of days at the beach. We were able to take the path directly to the beach and come back to relax.

In general, the stay was good. The property is in an excellent location. The furniture is old and may be due for replacement. I would say the cleanliness was average.

Great House. Great Location. Great View even though it is what some would call a second row house. Host was very gracious. We had an personal issue we did not anticipate, nothing to do with the house. Bobbie (the Host) was kind and understanding. We will absolutely be booking this property again. Further, the folks in Matagorda are wonderful people. I have fished, gone to the beach or stayed at every beachside town in Texas From Galveston to Boca Chica at the mouth of the Rio Grande. I will be going back to Matagorda and will be staying at Bobbie's Beach Daze Every time. If I could give 10 stars, I would without hesitation.

We were in town for a friends wedding and I’m glad we chose this property! Very close beach access and very responsive owners! We had a blast and will definitely come back again!

Great Fishing Trip

Beach Daze was perfect for our family. We were able to use the outside water faucet to wash off sand and the washer and dryer to wash fishy clothes. We brought in our own food and were able to make meals with all the pans, stove and oven. Shower was excellent after a long day of fishing and the porch was perfect for morning coffee. The neighborhood was quiet. The house isn’t far from the pier if you want to take a walk. Thank you for being such a great host!

Peaceful beach get away

The host was very responsive and communication was great. The house was as described and we enjoyed our stay and the easy walk to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and there were very few people on the beach. The only down side was the aggressive mosquitos but the host did prepare us for that.

Super cute and great location

The house is super cute and well set up and clean! The town is quite so make sure you come prepared you can get most little things you need though and they have the house well set up for incidentals! It was perfect for our stay on a quiet road just a moments drive to the beach. You could hear and see the ocean from the porch we just loved it!

Just What We Were Looking For

We had a peaceful, relaxing time, despite mosquitos and unseasonably chilly weather. The house was just as advertised. It was clean, simple, and, as Vrbo places go, had a well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed walks on the beach, visits to the Matagorda Bay Nature Park (about a 10-minute walk away), and longer trips to nearby nature preserves. If we ever get back to this area, we would stay here again.
