This well appointed and beautifully decorated 4 bedroom cottage has great ocean views as well as a pool and a hot tub! Thoroughly equipped and nicely furnished, Sea Glass books up quickly every single year so do not wait to secure your week. High quality beds, furniture and electronics with high speed internet access, flat screen tv's in every bedroom and the living room. The spacious kitchen is modern, very well-equipped and labeled for your ease and convenience. The very best part? The beautiful ocean views from the main level living space/decks and the upstairs "primary" bedroom. The kids will have a ball in the private swimming pool or playing on the beach which is just steps away from your front door.
South Nags Head is arguably the best location on the Outer Banks for a family vacation. It is a totally residential area enveloped by the Cape Hatteras National Seashore yet is only minutes from a variety of retail and recreational outlets (Jennette's Pier, Tanger Outlet Mall, many restaurants). Families will find the quiet, low-traffic and non-commercial atmosphere relaxing yet appreciate how easy it is to drive to the grocery store, restaurants, the movie theater, or a putt-putt course. The large multi-use path that parallels Old Oregon Inlet Road for its 4.5 mile length and is great for running, biking, or walking. Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is a full service marina with boat ramps and is just a couple of miles south of Sea Glass if you need a convenient location for offshore or inshore boating and fishing.

The house was at such a great location. Waking up to the roar of the ocean every morning was fabulous. Also felt the property owners had everything labeled so nicely. Realty company could have better customer service skills.

We wanted to love it.

When we booked, we knew there was a possibility that more family might be coming to stay later and bringing their dogs. The realtor that we rented from was very accommodating with that. However, the house was filthy. It was just my husband and I the first three days. We used the upstairs master bedroom and the upstairs bathroom. The shower had black mildew coming out from under the edge of the shower wall when water hit it. The bed in the master had a mattress pad on it that had entire sections of padding missing and was dirty. We removed the matress cover to prevent a lumpy bed. The mattress was stained and dirty. There was no closet to hang clothes, just hooks on the wall. The windows and view in the master bedroom are beautiful.... until about 6AM when the sun rises and shines right on the pillow where your head lays. There is nothing covering the triangle shaped windows. We felt a little exposed at night when everyone can see right in. The furniture has yellow stains at about 8" off of the floor where obviously a small dog had marked the couch and chair and it was never cleaned. The kitchen is stocked very well. So well that there are no empty cabinets to put food. The bathroom rugs were incredibly dirty, so I had to wash them. That's when we discovered a water leak in the downstairs bathroom (the rug was soaking wet in an unused bathroom). I called and reported it. It was never addressed during our stay. It could be a very special house, but was so dirty and unmaintained
