Welcome to Gayle's Getaway! This family friendly lake view luxury home is located in the middle of a Texas Century ranch dedicated to wildlife and conservation management. With spectacular views of Lake Travis, you’ll find yourself hitting the reset button over and over as you step outside on the back deck and take in the serenity of the hill country surrounding you.

A wedding at Villa Antonia, a family reunion, a Fourth of July festival, a girl’s getaway, a desire to explore the hill country beyond, a bridal or baby shower….whatever the event, our home is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Our guest home
It starts as you turn into the driveway and enter the gate, with the possibility of seeing a deer, turkey or fox drinking at the water trough. As you drive up the hill, you'll soon marvel at the views awaiting your stay. Parking is never a problem with plenty of space to spread out along the front driveway or gravel parking area. No awkward backing up/turning around required when it's time to go. Just follow the gravel road back over to the main driveway to exit the property.

A single door code is provided for the keyless entry locks to get you into the main house, apartment and gameroom. No more losing the keys or waiting for Uncle Frank to get there. Share the code with your company to allow for ease of access.

The main level of the home has beautiful hardwood floors with an open kitchen and 2 living spaces. Large floor to ceiling windows let in the bountiful sunshine and display panoramic views of the surrounding estate acreage and lake beyond. Grab a glass of wine and walk straight through to the back deck and watch the boats cavort on the lake or the birds play in the sky. Or grab a bowl of popcorn, sink into the stylish comfortable furnishings and take in a movie on the flat-screen TV above the fireplace.

Cook a meal while entertaining your group in the open concept kitchen. A large island and corresponding wrap around granite countertops provide plenty of space for culinary creativity. 2 stools for the chef(s) and 6 stools behind the bar for the spectators allow conversations and food preparation to commence. With 2 ovens, 2 sinks, a cooktop, microwave, large French door refrigerator and a plethora of cooking tools available, the sky's the limit on crafting your gourmet meals. Need one more oven for Aunt Leti's casserole or extra fridge space for the turkey or drinks? Never fear, there is a second kitchen in the downstairs apartment. A gas grill on the outdoor covered side patio complements the indoor cooking opportunities while you watch the boats at play on the lake. When the dinner bell rings, 2 indoor and 2 outdoor dining areas provide plenty of seating for your gang to enjoy wining, dining and conversations.

Outdoor relaxation is the name of the game with 2 covered seating areas in the middle, 2 in front, a large deck with multiple seating areas across the back and a firepit nestled into the hillside to allow a communion with nature and a view of the beauty of the hill country and lake. Can't sit still? Yard games are available for entertaining the more restless and/or competitive players.

Would you like to play a game? Bring out your inner child as you race to the finish line, gather clues or amass great wealth in the game of life with the myriad of board games in the upstairs gameroom. Poker anyone? You bet! With extra card tables and folding chairs, there are multiple seating options to entertain everyone. You can even angle the picture and watch the big game on the large screen TV.

At the right time of the month, you can witness a spectacular moonrise across the lake. Whether it's Blue, Wolf, Strawberry, Buck or Cold - the full moon rising can take your breath away. Not a full moon weekend, never fear, in the dark of night, the New moons allow for better star gazing. Use the star cards in the main living room to figure out which celestial bodies are twinkling up in the sky. Even on a cloudy night, the manmade lights around the lake provide a calming, restful view. Never fear - there are seats a plenty to allow everyone to enjoy.

As the night winds down, luxuriate in our comfortable beds. Soft linens, plush mattresses and a diverse group of pillow choices are available to give you a cozy night of sleep. The main house has 3 bedrooms with King size beds and a half bedroom with 2 Twin XL mattresses on a trundle. There is another King size bed in the 1st floor apartment and a twin size daybed with pullout trundle upstairs in the gameroom. 18" high foldout temporary beds with 6" memory foam mattresses are located in various rooms throughout the house for added sleeping arrangements. TV's are located in each of the main house bedrooms with another TV in the apartment living area to allow for movie watching downtime before you drift off to dreamland.

Mornings are AMAZING as you enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or do some light yoga while watching the sun rise across the lake. Coffee makers with bean grinders and appropriate filters are available in the apartment and main kitchen. Even cold sunny mornings provide an added bonus as cloud vapors rise up around the lake. It is a beautiful phenomenon to behold.

Get ready in one of the 5 full or single half bathrooms around the house. Complementary shampoo, conditioner and soap are available for your washing pleasure. No tiny tall showerheads here - every tub or shower comes complete with a handheld shower faucet and a place to prop your foot up to help you get all your bits clean. Hair dryers are provided in each bathroom to put some bounce back in your bedraggled locks. Irons and ironing boards as well as a few steamers can be found around the house to take the wrinkles out of your wardrobe. Check yourself one last time before you walk out the door in any of the full length mirrors around the house.

Accessibility/parental convenience are more hallmarks of the house. Portable ramps are available for ease of wheelchair and/or stroller use to get in/out of the house. Wide doorways and walk in showers are additional features for ease of access. Stairs a challenge? Use the elevator located next to the apartment to get up to the gameroom. Parents will find a high chair, toddler utensils, baby gate, portable crib and baby monitors for use.

***No wedding events allowed. No smoking. No pets. No outdoor fires/fireworks allowed. (note - propane firepit and grill provided for use). No groups where most or everyone is under the age of 25. Absolutely no loud, disruptive drinking/drug addled parties are allowed. You will be asked to leave. Prior approval is required for any larger day events, extra overnight guests and any professional photography sessions. ***
