Enjoy a piece of history, this stone house was built in the 1930's. One of three that were part of Rimrock Ranch Bar Lazy-R, a "dude ranch" where VIPs and movie stars would stay as they were filming westerns in the Sedona area or relaxing. In the 60âs it was Mobster getaway hiding spot. The stone house sits elevated on a hillside with overlooking panoramic views of forestry land, local homes & farms, with scenic pinions.
We only stayed for one night but the owner is extremely friendly and hospitable! This is such a lovely comfortable place to stay. You cannot beat the views! We even got to see the farm animals! Thank you for having us and hope to stay again next year!
This place has enough so all you need are to pack clothes and food. The host is knowledgable of the area and friendly. It's a nice break from Phoenix heat and higher elevation is further up the road.
I absolutely loved staying here. The cottage was perfect and a lovely retreat. The fires at night were absolutely amazing. Love the location and a special shout-out to both Joe and Kyle. Joe has such a deep appreciation for the history and both were so passionate about the animals and what they were doing! Couldnât recommend it enough!
Our experience was so nice and relaxing. So many games at the home and a cozy space. My pups had space to roam outside and of course the farm and sunset views were the best part
Our stay was really unforgettable.
The home was cozy and had everything we needed. Host went above and beyond and the kids loved visiting with the animals.
