Big and Cozy Cabin Near Nashville, on 4 acres with King Bed & Pool

Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the big city, yet still just a short drive away. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene cabin home on 4 acres while you enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of nature right outside your door. Sip your morning coffee in a rocking chair on the wrap around porch, tell ghost stories around the big fire pit, escape the heat in the large pool (* Seasonal* open May through September), or simply enjoy a change of scenery while working remotely. This cabin home is small enough to feel cozy, yet big and spacious enough for 8. The casita is situated about 300 ft. behind the cabin and sleeps 2 with a full size bed. Please note, the casita has an extra $50 cleaning fee and there is an extra occupancy fee of $50 per guest, per night past 6 guests. Also note that there is no restroom in the casita and only used as an extra sleeping space.

Located about 6-10 miles from most major shopping and restaurants. Again, far enough to escape, yet close enough to be convenient! We are also very close to a number of outdoor activities including Bryant Grove Recreation Area and Boat Ramp, so bring your boats and RV's, we have room to park them!

Located in a quiet country neighborhood mixed with giant estates and humble homes. Enjoy the frequent sightings of deer and wild turkey on your drive here. Please keep in mind that we are more in the country and you will likely encounter some wildlife and bugs on your journey (All part of the experience!).

You are free to explore the property but please use caution as the nearly 2 acres of wooded area in the back has no marked trails and terrain can be unpredictable, so enter at your own risk! Also please wear pants, close toed shoes, and use bug spray to protect against bugs including mosquitos and ticks! Please use caution in general and watch your step when exploring any part of the property. We want you to enjoy your stay but safety is our number one priority.

- Absolutely NO SMOKING, including VAPING, HOOKAH, CIGARS, and MARIJUANA in the house. Not only is this a safety hazard, but smoke smell is extremely hard to remove and you will be charged an additional cleaning fee to deep clean linens and couches.
- No illegal substances allowed on the property
- NO unregistered guests allowed on the property
- Although we are animal lovers, please no animals in the house.
- Although we are out in the country and we want you to have a good time, please still be mindful of neighbors and exercise quiet hours between 10pm and 7am.
- Pool Rules - No diving, No running, No glass, No food, NEVER leave children unattended. Keep gate closed and locked when not in use. Swim at own risk, host is not responsible for injury or death due to slips, falls, injury or death on property, including the pool and fire pit.
- Fire pit is available for registered guests only. Please use caution and discretion with fire. Please supervise children and do not leave them unattended around the fire pit. Please do not leave fire burning unattended and keep it at a manageable and responsible size. NO BONFIRES.
- Please clean up and throw the trash in the dumpster outside before checking out. Don't forget to do a final sweep of your belongings, including chargers.
- Please use the sink strainers in the kitchen and dump any food in the trash as there is no garbage disposal.
- Please leave used dishes in the dishwasher before checking out.
- Please leave used towels in the bathroom hamper before checking out
- Please use black towels to remove makeup to prevent staining white towels.
- No guest access to garage or barn
- Guests may explore the property at own risk as there may be unlevel terrain and country critters! Thank you! We look forward to hosting you

Our kids had a blast in the pool. We got to see baby Deers in the backyard and catch lots of fireflies. Also having a great time out in the countryside. I would recommend this place to anyone especially the ones that have kids. It is a great place to bond with each other other

We loved the cabin. Inside was roomy and clean, and the outside was even better. Enjoyed the fire pit, the outdoor lighting, the porch, and tossing bags. Grilled out and enjoyed our stay. Great location where you feel out of the way, but just 15 min to town.

The location is easy and convenient. The house could be very nice and comfortable but several factors depleted the rating. Upon arrival there was garbage in several areas on the property- though there are signs everywhere. Appliances are old, rusted, or overly complicated. The pool cleaners asked us to complete tasks. The cleaning crew arrived before checkout. The casita had no working lights and no bulbs, tools, or info to fix. It also locked us out the last day well before checkout so we couldn’t complete cleaning. The beds are uncomfortable and not exactly able to fit 12 comfortably. The dishes were put away dirty from the last guests. The yard was not maintained and one guest found a tick on them. The ac turns off when no one is there so you come back to a hot house every time and I am not using my vacay time to watch videos on how to use things. It has the best potential if it were cared for and well maintained. If you need a roof, it still has that, and a lot of spiders. If you want nice and cozy (as it says) it needs some love. And I totally get not wanted to spend money for a second shower but there is more than enough space to fit one! Would make it mich better! Oh, and, let’s go red wings!

Hi Jenna, sorry the house did not meet your standards. Although the washing machine does have some rust around one of the reservoirs, the tub is rust free, fully functional, straight forward and user friendly, same with the dryer, stove, oven, and fridge. The one that may be confusing to some is the dishwasher, which is why we labeled the one simple instruction. Pool guy asked you if you would shut off the water hose after a couple of hours and turn the pump back on, due to low water level. I appreciate you agreeing to it but if it was a problem that you were going to count against us, did not have to say yes. As far as the casita, the light bulb must have just went out because the previous guests and cleaner did not mention it. I have my number listed in the cabin as well as available through the messaging feature on the VRBO app. Neither was used, how can I address your concerns? The QR code next to the Nest thermostat is a link to a 30 second video on how to adjust the temp, since not everyone has experience with one - a mild inconvenience. I have my grass cut every two weeks so the grass may have been a little long for your liking but hardly unkept. Pest control comes every 3 mo, but you are in the country, so yes there will still be spiders and other bugs. We did not fit your 12 comfortably because it is listed as limit 10 guests, which is what you booked for. As far as the one shower, you knew when you booked it. The lock code expires 15 min after check out. Thank you.

Upon arrival, code to the door was not working and it took over 40 minutes for host to respond. One bed had dirty linen on it, but we fixed that problem by throwing it in the washer. Other than that, the house was nice.

Had a wonderful time relaxing in the pool and enjoying the cicadas. In a perfect location (private, but short drive to all of the fun that the Nashville area has to offer). Would love to stay again!

Home away from home

This cabin was just right, it was home away from home. The cabin had everything we need for our stay. I love how much yard space was available. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Why they chose this property

This property is far enough away to enjoy some of the peace and relaxation that the countryside has to offer, but close enough to the big city to still experience a fun night on the town if you choose. It is also big enough to sleep comfortably, but small enough to still feel cozy! Enjoy the pool on a hot summer day, sip your coffee in a rocking chair on the wrap around porch, or tell stories around the campfire on those chilly nights. This is truly a unique property that will leave you feeling right at home.
