Everything was as advertised. Great location, well-appointed house, everything was great. Property manager was very interested in making sure we were comfortable and happy. Highly recommend.
Upon entry the modern feel of the home provided a very comfortable stay upon entry right away. Plenty of clean living space to dine, cook, and sleep. The hosts provided nice linens and the washer and dryer is a useful added touch. We really enjoyed our stay here and close proximity to dining, sightseeing, and shopping Portland, Maine has to offer!
I had a great week at Munjoy Hill apartment. It’s a very quiet, nicely designed little home behind the main house. Loved the heated bathroom floor! The apt had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was very responsive and the check in/out instructions couldn’t have been easier.
The house was recently built, and it's beautifully designed and fully equipped. It's also very spacious - more so that it looks in the photos. In particular, from the photos we thought there was no sitting room area, but there really is and the downstairs kitchen/living area really works. Everything was VERY clean and the owner responded quickly to any questions that we had. We enjoyed walking out to walks by the sea and taking the 5-minute drive downtown. We'll definitely stay here again if we're back in the Portland area.
I couldn’t have planned for a better stay than here.William was a very nice and accommodating host, he responded very quickly whenever we needed anything or had any questions, he was always kind and friendly, definitely a 5 star host(out of 5!)You’re a short drive to anywhere in the main Portland area, and never had issues with parking. The neighborhood seems family oriented and filled with tons of friendly people while we walked around. We also liked that there were several delicious food options walking distance from the house. The home itself was very clean, the automatic lights was a nice touch, and it’s astonishing that William(the host) built it himself! The amenities were all modern and new definitely a place that makes you feel at home.Usually when I write reviews for places I try to list pros and cons but there’s no cons I can think of.All in all a wonderful home to stay in when visiting Portland all tucked away behind Williams main home.Looking forward to my stay here again in the future!
Cute, cozy, super clean & modern. Fully equipped with towels, linens, dishes, pots, etc. Washer & dryer definately came in handy. No dishwasher but we didn't eat in much so wasn't a big deal for us. Spiral staircase to bedrooms upstairs may be prove challenging to those with mobility issues but we had no problem with it.
Located in a quiet neighborhood filled with attractive large old homes in the Munjoy Hill section of Portland. Large park across the street offering awesome views of Portland from the top of the hill, at the other end of the street is another park offering sweeping views of Casco Bay.
Close to everything, various breweries and a great kombucha place all within a 15 minute walk of the house if you're so inclined. A short 5-10 minute drive brings you into downtown Portland.
Will & Marta were excellent hosts and live onsite in the house in front, so if any issues or questions they are easily reached, that being said this property felt very private. Parking is on the street however we were there for a week in mid-May and never had an issue finding a place to park nearby, even late at night. Overall this was an excellent proprty in an excellent location and I would not hesitate to come back.
