Charming beach cottage with golf cart in Sandestin

Relax at this peaceful beach cottage located on the Links Course within the Sandestin community.

This cottage is very spacious featuring 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room with a pullout couch, a full kitchen with dining area, laundry room, a screened in porch, and also an upper porch outside the master suite.

Within the gates of Sandestin, you are just a golf cart (included) drive away from the great restaurants, shopping, tennis, pools and beaches that the community has to offer.

The beach is approximately 5 minutes away by car or if you take the golf cart it is about 7-10 minutes. There is a tunnel that goes under Hwy 98 which gives you access to the beach side of the resort when using the golf cart. Sandestin is a beautiful resort area and the golf cart makes for a fun experience getting to the beach, Baytowne Wharf and Grand Boulevard for shopping and dining.

Sandestin is a golf and beach resort that has dining, shopping, pools, beaches, and various activities all built within the gates. Once you check in you can literally travel by golf cart everywhere you might need to go (including the grocery store!)

The house contains a drive way which can accommodate two vehicles and the golf cart.

Great place to stay!

This was a great place to stay. Great location and amenities. The golf cart was a ton of fun. You can easily get around the community with the cart and have easy access to the wharf, the beach, pools and more. The owners were quick to respond before and after booking and reached out to us a couple of days after we checked in to ensure everything was satisfactory and to see if we needed anything or had any issues. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Sandestin retreat!

We were visiting family who have a home in Sandestin. The house was perfect for our Florida getaway! Plenty of room, great layout in the house, well stocked kitchen. The golf cart is new and perfect for getting to the beach and Baytown. I will definitely be staying here again. Nice and quiet neighborhood on the golf course. Comfortable beds, beautiful sun room for relaxing

Clean, Comfortable, Relaxing

Nice furniture throughout, very clean, great amenities. We enjoyed driving the golf cart through the neighborhoods and to the beach. This home is one of few in the area that has an upstairs balcony, great for morning coffee and relaxing. We enjoyed grilling & eating on the screened porch. Our only suggestions would be some newer skillets and more wash cloths for the kitchen and while the water pressure in the front and master bath showers were adequate (6 out of 10), perhaps they should be updated. The hosts are very responsive and considerate, we appreciate their hospitality and would definitely stay here again.

Overall a Nice Stay

The host for this property was great at getting back to us promptly during our stay. The location of this house was great and the golf cart made it a lot of fun to be able to get to Baytown and the beach. One of the main issues we had with our stay was we saw Palmetto (cockroaches) in the kitchen and the living room. The host assured us that this is not a common occurance at their house and had offered to have pest control come during our visit which due to the visit being close to our check out day we declined but were appreciative of the offer. Loved the location and host but would probably not stay again due to the bugs.

We are so sorry you experienced this during your stay. We do have the home regularly treated for pest prevention and this is definitely not a common occurrence. We immediately got pest control scheduled to come out at the first available appointment, however then you asked us to cancel stating you had not had additional problems. We did schedule them after your checkout since you did not want them to come during your stay and appreciate you letting us know so we could take care of this. We always strive to provide our guests a 5 star experience and I am glad to hear you enjoyed your stay otherwise.

Great place has everything you need

We had a great stay. Easy directions and coded door made for easy check in. Kitchen had both coffee pot and Kuerig. Plenty of kitchen appliances and cookware. It was clean. Quiet area and easy access to get anywhere. Minutes from the beach. We loved the golf cart. It made the trip. One night the kids and grands came for dinner. Teen granddaughters loved the Bluetooth speakers. We drove them to the fireworks on Tuesday. We were the cool grandparents. Definitely help us in making memories. Owners messaged us to make sure we didn’t need anything and checked in fine. They reached out mid stay and before checkout. We couldn’t have asked for more. It was beautiful, roomy even during family dinner. The patio and upstairs deck we extra nice.
