This home is located on a quiet street that makes it perfect for a family vacation. You are 2.5 miles to the sand of the #1 ranked beach in the US, Siesta Key. There are amazing parks near by as well as the Legacy Trail, with several trail heads to choose from. Any store you could ever want, is all within a short drive. You can also brew your perfect cup of coffee with your very own coffee bar each morning, equipped with everything you need. Kitchen is fully stocked to cook if you don’t feel like eating out. Also we just added a brand new heated pool for you and your family to make your stay memorable. Come see what Sarasota has to offer with the perfect balance of quaint and beach smack dab in the heart of Sarasota’s best area!

Great experience

We stayed 17 days and really appreciated the location, the host, and the house worked out great for us. Gulf Gate is a great location!

Long Weekend Spring Training Trip

The house was well suited for the five of us. It was centrally located, so it was easy to get to games and the beach. My parents liked having the church down the street, and we enjoyed great restaurants close by, like Brine.

Perfect home base for Sarasota adventures

This house worked great for our family of 5. It is well appointed and in a quiet neighborhood. We were happily surprised to find the garage stocked with everything we would need for a beach excursion. The host was quick to respond to communication and the check in/ check out process was really smooth and easy! There is a Sprouts and Publix within 5 minutes of the house as well as many restaurants, coffee shops, etc.

Amazing Stay

We had a truly wonderful holiday! Everything was perfect, beginning with the awesome host, Steve! He was very helpful and promptly answered any and all of my questions regarding our stay. We were very impressed with the overall cleanliness of the property. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years and the first thing we noticed was how clean everything was! I was pleasantly surprised to find all the amenities that were available for our use. Everything that was listed was in perfect working condition. I look forward to staying at this property in the future!

10/10 Just as advertised!

The property was as advertised!! And owner was proactive with their communication. Everyone in our party agreed that the beds, and the bedding was very comfortable. I will say at first, I felt like we were a little far from the beach however, after going down to the beach area once, we realized what a blessing, it was to be a few miles away from the traffic and crowds. The neighborhood was peaceful, and was a great place to take a morning stroll. And the drive to the beach and restaurants wasn’t far at all. Two great places we visited, were the Ringling museum as well as the Legacy Trail for biking, there’s a location nearby where you can rent bikes. And then, in terms of restaurants, we found a small local pizza shop called Rico’s where we were able to get a 2 foot wide pizza that was amazing and then we also went to Downtown Sarasota and had a great Mexican meal at Melvins! 10/10 would recommend!

Absolutely loved this place!

Perfect for a family or friends looking to enjoy the area and relax at your place while still having a great time. Lots of room and a beautiful backyard. The listing pictures were exactly as the property was when we got there. Steve was amazing! 5 ⭐️

This home is 20 minutes from SRQ airport and 15 minutes to Downtown Sarasota / Lido Key. Less than 2 hours to Disney World, 45 Minutes to Tampa, and surrounded by world class golf courses. The convenience of this home's location will have you wanting to stay here forever. The tranquility and convenience of Gulf Gate is rivaled only by its friendliness and comfort. It is one of Sarasotas most popular and established neighborhoods making it attractive to everyone. The best part about where you will be staying is how SAFE this area is. If you want to walk the dog around the paved sidewalks at 3am, you can do so without giving it a second thought.
