Family stay

This house was perfect to reconnect with family we enjoyed the pool and game room as well as all the space to spread out. Loved the organization of the binder with all the information needed for your stay. Communication with owner prior to stay was great. Highly recommend and would stay again.

2023 Family Vacation

The house was perfect for our group of 8. Perfect location and the pool was perfect. Nice, quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be trying to stay here again.

Great space for our family

The home gave our family plenty of room to spread out. The grandkids loved the heated pool. We appreciated having no rear neighbors. Listing information accurate. Owners were responsive and communication easy. Didn’t have time to use the resort amenities but they were available and offered to us.

Disney Trip

This house worked great for our family of five for a trip down to Disney. The owners were easy to work with. The house was well taken care of and clean. We opted for the pool heat which worked well (should say we live northeast so maybe not right for everyone. Swimming in 50 degree weather is not a problem for us…water was warmer than the Atlantic in the summer). Overall it was a great experience.

Disney trip 3/2024

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful house. Pictures don’t do it justice per my husband. Owners were very prompt in answering questions upon arrival. The seven of us, were very comfortable staying here. Our 4 year old granddaughter loved the pool with floaties and her bed in the Mickey room. There were plenty of pots and pans for cooking family meals, when we didn’t feel like going out to eat. Beds were very comfortable. We didn’t even have time to play games in the garage. Loved location to the parks. The community pool was wonderful too. Overall, if we are in the area again, we will check out this house again. Thank you Matthew for sharing your wonderful house with us.

Warm Christmas

Some of my siblings and I decided that we wanted to have a “Warm Christmas” this year. We did some research and found 8016. We loved the way pictures looked online and prayed they were real. We were so happy to find the house was welcoming and clean. The pictures did not give the justice it deserved. Everything, the pool, the hot tub, the rooms space, all of it was more than we expected. Our hosts, Matt & Kate, communications were always quick, pleasant and helpful. Thank You for making us wished we had booked for at least a week. That is our plan the next time!

Deserves 10 stars

This property is amazing. Everything is just as described, super clean, updated and very quiet for being in a resort setting. The house was perfect with young adults who needed space to spread out. They loved the game room and the space upstairs was perfect for them to hang out. We used the pool daily and enjoyed the private setting as no one backs up behind this property. The owners are amazing and quickly replied throughout the whole process. It is located close to Champions Gate which is a very busy area with lots of places to eat and things to do. Traffic can be busy at times which is typical. The only issue we had was Soltera is a very large resort which is gated. We went at peak spring break season so as you can imagine traffic was backed up just trying to get in. At times we had to wait 30-40min just to get into the resort. That being said it was probably one of the safest places we've stayed, it is truly a gated community and everyone goes through security. I would highly recommend and book again. This place was great.

Very basic

As travelers who often come to Orlando, we were disappointed by the this listing. The neighborhood was jam packed with cars on the left and right side of the road and with 3 and 4 cars in the driveway. Though they have "rules" for the parking, these are not enforced. What we thought would be an upscale house in and upscale area was not the case. Not only was the neighborhood less than ideal, the home had a stale smell and only the basics were in place to maintain the listing. If you stay here you can expect thin bars of soap (bring your own), thin wash clothes that no not fully match each room, a property that faces a field with cows and no skillets. While we appreciated the home layout, the cable television, the bathrooms in the rooms and plenty of beds, if you want an upscale experience in Florida, there are much better properties to stay in.

This was one of the worst and most unpleasant guests we have dealt with in over 20 years. He demanded pool heat last-minute on the day of his arrival, we switched it on in good faith and he then ignored our payment requests and refused to pay for it! He was rude, arrogant and ignored our calls, text messages and emails, and was then openly rude and confrontational when we went to the home to politely discuss the pool heat with him. It was a distressing situation for us. He left the home in a poor, disrespectful condition and we then had to approach him again about this - this review is pure retaliation for us to trying to get the money he owed us and for trying to get the home back in good order after his stay, not an easy task. As for the resort - the guest stayed at peak season at Christmas when the Solterra resort is going to be at full capacity, as are all resorts in the area! The home has private parking for two vehicles on the private driveway so he did not need to be impacted by other homes utilizing street parking - unless he too was over-occupying the home, and the driveway was not enough for him? We also CLEARLY state on the listing exactly what is provided in terms of supplies before he booked, repeated it again on the arrival info and again in the information folder in the home. It is no surprise that this guest did not read any of the info provided or he would have known exactly what we provide - soap, kitchen towel, toilet rolls, kitchen sponge, trash bags, dishwasher tablets... it seems our complimentary starter supplies were not enough for him!! It is a self-catering home, that is why we list the provisions provided clearly in advance! What we do provide is a beautiful, well-kept, spacious, clean home with no rear neighbors - even the peaceful far-reaching countryside view (as per the listing and photos) was apparently not right for him either?! It's on the listing! Please go by the six other 5-star reviews for this beautiful home, and not from this unpleasant guest that is using his review to retaliate for what was a very unpleasant and costly experience for us as hosts.
