Frenchman's Cove is a Marriott Vacation Club (MVC) timeshare resort that is broken into Platinum, Gold, and Silver seasons. Owners must reserve their desired weeks through MVC months in advance. Frenchman's Cove is a relatively new resort in a high-demand location so it books up very fast once the reservation period opens up. Since we own multiple weeks at Frenchman's Cove, we are able to reserve 13 months in advance, giving us a one-month head start over single-week owners. Our weeks are in Gold season which runs from late April thru mid-September and all of November into mid-December. We do not have access to weeks in other seasons.
Escape to enticing Frenchman’s Cove, one of Marriott’s newest resorts, at a great price! Frenchman’s Cove is reminiscent of a quaint Mediterranean village nestled into the hillside above sparkling turquoise waters. Set on a point overlooking tranquil Pacquereau Bay and St. Thomas Harbor, the 3 bedroom/3 bath villas occupy the most choice locations in the resort, with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, St. Thomas Harbor, and neighboring islands from every room.
Villas are spacious (1580 ft2), comfortably elegant, and fully equipped. The open plan kitchen/dining/living room is perfect for family meals and relaxing at the end of day. The well-equipped high-end kitchen boasts granite counter tops & stainless appliances. Retreat to the master suite where you’ll find a king-sized bed, luxurious garden tub, double sinks, and separate shower. There are two queen-sized beds in each of the generously sized guest bedrooms, providing ample space for your whole family or group. Each bedroom has a private balcony overlooking the bay. Read a book, take a nap, watch graceful sailboats and an occasional cruise ship glide silently past, enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the bay.
The Cove has so much to offer that you’ll never need to leave – beautiful, private Evening Star Beach with living reef, water sports, fitness center overlooking the pool and bay, marketplace, poolside restaurant & bar, expansive infinity pool complete with water slide that winds through lush greenery, and a list of activities that will leave you wishing you could stay longer!
If that isn’t enough, as a guest of Frenchman’s Cove, you will also enjoy complete access to all amenities of the two adjacent Marriott resorts – the famous Frenchman’s Reef and Morning Star Beach Resorts (closed until 2019 for Hurricane Irma recovery). You won’t want to miss beautiful Morning Star Beach, the pools, restaurants, spa, and numerous other amenities at the two resorts. Note that guests of Frenchman’s Reef and Morning Star Beach resorts do not have access to the Frenchman’s Cove facilities – they are for exclusive use of Frenchman’s Cove guests.

Not only can you enjoy the beauty and serenity of Frenchman’s Cove, but also the untouched beauty and beaches of neighboring St. John. It’s just a quick ferry ride to St John where you can spend the day then return in the evening to the tranquility of Frenchman’s Cove.

Our first visit to The Cove came in June 2009. We were very pleased with the resort, villa quality, amenities, location, and friendly staff. We were so pleased that we bought a second week in a 2 BD/2 BA size for the same season. We hope you will enjoy your visit to the Cove as much as we enjoy visiting there!

Awesome Digs! Great Location!
This place exceeded our expectations. We had our family of grown kids, spouses and grandchild in this spacious 3 bedroom villa. Prior to our arrival, Sharon & Ron were extremely helpful in helping plan our activities for our week stay.
The resort itself lives up to Marriot's 5 star reputation. Though we spent a lot of time sightseeing and a took couple of trips to St. Johns, we could have been happy just settling into our resort. The Cove at Evening Star Beach has it all! Well maintained grounds/beach area that was never too crowded to enjoy the beach or pool area. The onsite restaurant was good, but a bit pricey as you would expect, the weekend brunch was excellent and a good deal.
The rooms, kitchen, bathrooms etc. were updated and very well maintained. Our view from our deck was identical to the one in the picture. Waking up to the ocean view and ships sailing in and out of Charlotte Amalie was a treat. The term "luxury villa" is a true description of this property.
The location on the island was perfect. A bit out of town, so it as peaceful and relaxing, but close access to the sights of the island and Charlotte Amalie. We rented a car; and parking & driving was easy from this resort.
Don't miss the opportunity to rent this place!
I would absolutely recommend and rent from the owners again. They were extremely helpful and courteous every step of the way, with regular email and phone communication during the process. The owner even took the time to mail me a packet that contained magazines and maps of the island and spent time talking to me on the phone with tips and advice. I've rented through VRBO before, and this was by far, the best experience. The owners made sure that everything was in place, all I had to do was show up. I will definitely use them for future rentals. It was so easy and stressfree, couldn't ask for a better experience. Highly recommend, 5 star owner rating.
