Sound side comfortable & dog friendly home on the water in Hatteras Island. Located in awesome Brigands Bay neighborhood. Perfect for walks or bike riding without the traffic. Enjoy your morning coffee from the screened porch. Bring your boat and tie it up to the private dock. (private open boat ramp). You can also kayak or stand up paddleboard if that’s more your speed enjoying the back sound. Brand new Hot tub on third floor overlooking the water for relaxing. Screened in rear porch with table/chairs off living room. Seat swing on ground floor overlooking the large grass yard. Dog fence located on side of property. Inside a bonus 5th bedroom acts as movie room w/ 70” tv and pull out couches for rain days or extra guests. Super large kitchen with seats at the 8’ island, 2 dishwashers, gas stove and large pantry closet. Home is located minutes from 4-wheel drive & other beaches or stay home and cast a fishing pole right off your private dock. Wi-Fi, new smart tvs, new air-condition units, new furniture, new flooring, all included. A quiet place to relax and enjoy the Outer Banks at its finest! Linens included!

Very Clean and comfortable. Roomy and well appointed kitchen with 2 dishwasher was great. Screen porch was a welcome bonus. Canal was very nice for the family to do some fishing behind the house on those windy days.

Great spot and has a boat ramp which we used! House amenities were as described so no complaints there at all. Great for our dogs and even had a fenced side yard. We would definitely stay here again. Great neighborhood for walking and convenient to everywhere we wanted.

We loved this home! The kitchen is very large with tons of counter space. The pantry is amazing! All of the bedrooms are good size. All mattresses were great quality. The lift into the kitchen is a great feature as well. Everyone said “let’s stay here again!”

Great Stay

Great property in a great location! The pictures do not do this property justice. The kitchen is large and accomodating. Perfect for big family meals. Owner/property manager was responsive and resolved a small issue very quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, restful location

We chose this property for our family vacation. It was perfect for our family of seven plus two fur babies. Everyone had their own space, but there was also plenty of space to be together. We loved being able to see the water each day and to walk right out the back door to our boat. The owner responds to messages quickly, and the house is very comfortable. Some amenities that aren't mentioned but we appreciated include labeling the light switches (THANK YOU!), a well-appointed kitchen including a large crockpot, electric griddle, air fryer, conventional coffee pot, and a Keurig, family games, and linens that are provided in enclosed cases to insure cleanliness. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Family Vacation

If you’re looking for a fantastic place to stay while enjoying Hatteras, this is the one! The house is beautiful and extremely well kept. Our group of ten (7 adults & 3 kids) had plenty of space to spread out here. From the large kitchen and dining area, to the big screened in porch, to the large bedrooms, we never once felt cramped. The house is located on the sound with a dock 30 ft away, so when we weren’t at the beach the kids enjoyed playing in the yard and fishing right at the house, and it was only a short drive to the beach at Hatteras or Frisco. Above all else the property owner was fantastic to work with. We reserved the house on very short notice due to some unforeseen circumstances and Ed was quick to respond and extremely accommodating. All in all, the experience could not have been any better. I would highly recommended this house for your next OBX vacation!

Do you like cameras?

The owner of the property has several undisclosed cameras on the outside of the house that he watches and he will message you frequently about the goings-on of the house. This was especially worrying as we had teenage girls in the house and were unaware that we were being watched. The thermostat may be controlled by the owner remotely, as we came back to the house each day to a significantly higher temperature setting than what we left. The owner is currently attempting to charge us for damages to the house that were present before our stay, which we are contesting. Overall, I would not recommend this listing to anyone.

Brigands Bay is a great mixture of locals and renters enjoying what the Outer Banks is all about. Everyone is friendly and enjoying time at the beach with family & friends. Great place to walk your dogs on a leash without a bunch of traffic.

We’ve done our best to make our home comfortable for guests. We enjoy staying at the home making everything we can think of available to just show up and enjoy vacation.
