Relatives visiting from out of town enjoyed their stay at the carriage house. And the owners were very helpful when I accidentally booked the wrong dates. Would definitely book here again.
Great location, close to downtown and Chico State. Clean, quiet, and comfortable studio suite with full bath and small kitchen. Exactly what we needed. Enjoyed it very much!!! Owners are friendly but not intrusive. Hope to stay here again in the future!
We were in Chico on a nostalgic tour. Everything about this place is just beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous and quiet. The beds are comfy and the house has everything one could need. Super close to the park and downtown as well. Perfect weekend.
This little apartment was perfect for a getaway from the city for a long weekend. We spent hours in the incredible pool and garden spaces. It was easy to get downtown to all the places of interest. We had all we needed. Thanks!
We had a wonderful time in Chico with lots of family get-togethers. Our vrbo home was in a perfect lication to walk in Bidwell Park or to the down town. It was clean and comfortable. Thank you!

Hi Karen, we look forward to another hosting opportunity.
The Carriage House was the perfect place to stay and enjoy a weekend of exploring Chico. The house is cozy and adorable, especially the kitchen, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking in Boswell Park and found many wonderful things at the Farmer’s Market. Touring the Bidwell Mansion was also a highlight. Overall it was an excellent adventure

Thanks Becky, we look forward to hosting you again.
The cottage above the garage is quite comfortable. The beds are quite good. The covered poolside tables were excellent and the greenery of the yard made you forget you were in a subdivision.
The Wi-Fi was not very good (it didn’t show up on my iPhone) and the house photo is a bit misleading
I did enjoy the stay and would recommend it for those looking to simply disconnect in a wonderful setting
The vintage charm of the carriage house coupled with a fresh modern update was perfect. The kitchen is small but well-equipped; the bathroom was so fresh and clean. The bedroom area is huge with 2 beds, a sofa and coffee table, and TV. The large windows let in lots of natural light. There was an ample walk-in closet for storage. Mike happened to be working in the outdoor garden area when we arrived. He was so friendly and welcoming and the gardens are magnificent. The home sits across the street from lower Bidwell Park - perfect to take a walk. Downtown and other areas of Chico are just a few minutes away. Fantastic place - definitely would book again.
