4 Bedroom 2 Bathroom private house close to Chico State and Enloe Hospital

This is a newly renovated 1940 house that retains a ton of its original charm. It is conveniently located ~10 minute walk from Enloe hospital and ~10 minute walk to downtown / Chico State. The original hardwood floors have been refinished and are a work of art.

There are 3 bedrooms on one side of the house and a large 18x12 master bedroom on the other with stereo speakers. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower tub and one with a claw foot tub that also has a shower head. There is a new 65” TV with Apple TV.

There is a stocked kitchen with pots, pans, toaster, and coffee pot. There is also a mature orange tree in the front yard and an industrial juicer for you to use.

I have done the work myself and am constantly updating the place and appreciate any feedback.

Such a wonderful house close to the campus and downtown. Communication was great would totally stay here anytime we are in Chico. Loved the back patio area so serene. Loved that we could watch any college football game or movie we could have imagined as well.

Perfect location for our familt wedding party

We had people from as far away as Cape Cod come to see our nieces wedding :-) Six adults were very comfortable and had a wonderful weekend. The selling point for me was Chris's responsiveness to my inquiries. Our issues were addressed nearly immediately :-)

Wedding weekend stay

Stayed here for a wedding in town! Great little house with plenty of rooms and beds! Owner was very receptive to messages and check in was easy. The bushes on the property are a little overgrown, so did feel like we had to dodge plants to get to the front door. Other than that, amazing stay!

Great property!

We were traveling to town for a conference. The property was a perfect place for the 5 of us and plenty of room to spare! The house was clean the host was very helpful.

The house was clean and nice. The host is very nice and super responsive. The only minor negative is that the floors are not all on the same level. Little bit of a tripping hazard especially for older people.

Nice relaxing spacious home

Nice, easy and great location.

We had a small group of friends reunite in Chico and stayed for a weekend at Chris’s rental. Very easy communication and house worked out very nicely just a few blocks from downtown. Would definitely rent here again.

Close to Chico State.

Excellent location a few blocks from Chico State and downtown. House has been renovated recently and is clean. Four bedrooms are large. Plenty of parking on driveway and the street.

Quaint large home

Chris’ house is large enough to accommodate a family with four bedrooms and a huge living room with yard out back. My favorite feature was the water pool outside with goldfish. Very relaxing. Thank you again!

A great choice for your Chico visit!

This a nice spacious house that's great for a family or a gathering of friends. Bedrooms have queen or king beds with plenty of room. Bathrooms are very nice and clean. Plenty of couch space , tables and chairs to spread out. Great location because it's close to downtown (15 minute walk/5 minute bike ride) and away from the college kids. We'll try to book it again!

College Reunion

We lived in this house while attending college. College roomies and I got together for our annual trip and spent the weekend enjoying Chico and reminiscing about all the great memories in the home. We walked everywhere and enjoyed hanging out in the backyard. Thanks for a great weekend.

Cute, Clean and Quiet Cottage

Beautiful garden with small wild life to watch thru windows. Small fun back yard, waterfall, fish, fire-pit, dartboard, very clean, comfortable beds, sleeps 8, TV with a lot of choices, easy to use and access personal streaming accounts. Host very responsive before and during visit and nice. Great location and very quiet, lots of free parking on street, driveway holds one car. Centrally locate to everything Chico has to offer. Cons: not enough inside seating for 8. Kitchen lacks key cooking items. Need more plates, cups, glass not enough for 8 people - need at least min of 16 item one to use and one in dishwasher. Kitchen set up for bachelor and eating out with heating up left overs in a nut shell. Not a fragrance free zone. Do not recommend for people allergenic to fragrances in sheets, soaps etc. house had 1smoke detector and 1 missing, no gas or carbon detector or fire extinguisher. I have confidence host will address these issue, but if important to you ask before booking. Would book again.

Great Quiet Tree Covered Location

Great place to chill and relax or use as a launch pad to check out nearby destinations outside of town as well as in town. Quick access to Chico State University being one block north of campus which also makes it conveniently close to the downtown hub of shops and wonderful foodie locations.

Super Clean

The house was located new Chico State, only a couple blocks away, which was what we were looking for. One of the cleanest homes we have stayed in. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Nice Place to stay

We stayed in the home for 2 nights. It's a lovely house and the bedrooms and space was large enough for the 5 adults in our group. Chris was very attentive to any questions or concerns. Would have loved to enjoy the outdoor space with the fish but it was a bit too cold. Would definitely stay there again.
