The yurt is perfect for relaxing in before and after enjoying the many seasonal activities of your choice.

Breakfast is included. In the yurt is a small refrigerator to hold your beverages and snacks and a electric kettle for making coffee or tea. Other meals can be had at the numerous nearby restaurants in Somers, Lakeside, Bigfork and Kalispell.

Why Michele Neal chose Somers

I had a beautiful hillside above my home overlooking the lake and decided I wanted to put a yurt on the property to add sleeping area for my family and guests.

What makes this Cottage unique

Besides the magnificent views of Flathead Lake year-around, you will be treated to the sight and sound of the resident eagles, swans, geese and the daily changes of the lake. Mysterious in winter, chilly and aloof in the spring, rich in color in the fall and irresistible in the summer.

Our stay was delightful. Michele is a great cook & host. She made sure that we had everything that we needed :) The yurt is perfectly set for an amazing view of the lake. We sunbathed on her dock, which is just a short walk from the yurt. We hiked in Glacier National, only a quick 40 min drive to West Glacier. Nearby Breweries, great food, and met amazing people along the way. Great trip!

I should note that the Composite toilet was super easy to manage and didn't smell.

                                                    Beautiful setting to relax

Just right!!! Comfortable, welcoming and a spectacular view!!!

My husband and I were looking for a unique place to stay on our business trip that wouldn't break our budget and would still be practical for our specific needs and schedule. When I came across this quaint Yurt in Somers Mt I was thrilled not only at the price ( very reasonable) but also at the location and that it was a Bed and Breakfast! We booked as soon as possible and upon arrival connected with our hostess right away... me being pregnant she being a midwife:) After giving us a tour and working out breakfast arraignments she left us in privacy in the tranquil overlook of Flathead lake. Breakfast was fanaominal!!! Our hostess was more then willing to accommodate our schedule and eating preferences. Unfortunately we didn't get to spend too much time out side because of all the mosquitos so next time we will definitely be packing bug spray! It took a little adjusting to get used to the composting toilet but it only added more fun to the adventure! Fortunately it didn't stink at all!!! We were very blessed to stay at the Yurt in the tiny town of Somers and look forward to another stay in the future!

                                                    Owner's Response:

Mosquito's haven't been a problem this year. I'm pretty sure my guests were here when there was a non biting gnat hatch. They can be annoying a few days out of the year.

The owner understood my needs and did everything she could to accomodate them.

                                                    Kelly G.

My husband and I were visiting Montana from Sandpoint Idaho to run the Spartan Sprint. I had never run a Spartan Race before. I was a little bit nervous and had a lot to plan for nutrition wise and clothing. This particular property is set up as a bed and breakfast. The host went out of her way to prepare food for us that suited our unique nutritional needs. She also offered her luxurious shower to our muddy selves after the race even though we had already checked out. The yurt itself is very cozy and thoughtfully decorated and overlooks flathead lake. We were able to sit on the deck and enjoy this view listening to the birds while drinking our coffee. I highly recommend this property if you find yourself in the vicinity.

                                                    Lovely Holiday Getaway

                                                    Alice C.

Michele's yurt was fantastic! Despite the December weather in Montana, we were quite cozy with the snuggly blankets and heaters she provided. The view is absolutely incredible - we loved waking up to see the geese and ducks on Flathead Lake. Through the whole booking, payment, and arrival process, Michele was very communicative and helpful.

We loved the space, and we'll certainly book this property again when we travel back to the Flathead!

Relaxing and comfortable place to get away

                                                    Randee N.

A very simple, yet incredible place to get away for a weekend and enjoy amazing scenery and nature. Michele was a very kind and gracious host who cooked amazing breakfast. I definitely recommend this place to everyone!
