Relaxing Home. Just a short walk to the beach. Gated fence and deck for your fur babies. BBQ., outdoor shower and enclosed back yard. Fast WiFi with a community pool to cool off.

Huge kitchen island for entertaining, and just minutes from walking to a beautiful sunset. Close enough to the beach but quiet enough so that when you lay your head on the pillow after a wonderful day there is nothing but peace and quiet.

Extremely close to everything - Moody Gardens, the Sewall, The Strand, house drawn carriages, aquarium, shopping and 5 star restaurants.

I am an expert in all that is Galveston, so please take advantage of me as your personal guide. No one knows Galveston like a local!

Great place to stay!!!

This was an amazing place to stay. The beach is so close that it was easy to go back and forth without moving a vehicle. The house was amazing and the patio was a great spot to hang out with family. We had family in another house 15 minutes away that was able to come down and spend the day with us on the patio with the extended sitting area. Play music, cook out and enjoy the outdoor games that were provided. I can’t say enough about Susan she was a great host. I would recommend this place 100 out of 100!

Great place all around!!

Perfect place for our mini get away! Very friendly host, very accommodating. No issues at all! She even allowed us to bring our fur babies with no arguments. House was a few blocks from beach. Very clean. Loved the backyard! The only thing was the propane was empty so it messed up our dinner plans but other than that it was great !!! Would rent again !!

Highly recommended

This was the perfect beach house for our end of summer trip. our host was very accommodating, she always responded quickly and professionally to all of my questions. The location of the house is extremely close to the beach. This is the only property I have stayed at in the area that the host allowed access to the garage. That was nice as it gave me a safe place to park my golf cart at night. The inside of the house has been nicely updated and well furnished. We will definitely be back!

Great property close to beach!

We had a great stay! We walked to the beach the first day, not realizing most people drive since the beach access down the street allows it. It was an easy walk and an even easier drive! We had our pup with us and the gated area outside was perfect for him! The outdoor setup was perfect, kid and dog friendly! The front porch is in the shade in the evening and we had a great time hanging out on the porch in the evenings, playing the ring toss game and relaxing. The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing everyone and everything off after the beach. Inside we enjoyed gathering at the island, eating and socializing! The open kitchen/living room were perfect for our family. Overall great property, highly recommend!

Pleasant stay with helpful surprises we didn't realize we needed.

We walked into a beautiful home with a great location! Only 3 minutes away from a Dollar General, 2 minutes away from two live music dining experiences and walking distance from the beach. The home came with a wagon to assist packing items for the beach and lawn chairs(we forgot to pack ours). The beds were comfortable and the deck was perfect for our dogs in addition to the fenced yard. My only recommendation would be blackout curtains in the bedrooms (for us lazy folks) and a washer/ drawer (maybe in garage?). Other than that, thank you so much Susan for everything!

Amazing Stay

Our stay at the Jamaica Beach property was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was clean, beautifully maintained, and had all the comforts we needed for a peaceful getaway. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the beach, with the sound of the waves never far from earshot. Whether we were relaxing on the porch, watching the sunset, or enjoying a morning coffee with the ocean breeze, every moment was peaceful and memorable.What truly made this stay exceptional was Susan, the property manager. She was a joy to work with from start to finish. I had a bit of a booking dilemma before our trip, and she stepped in right away to assist with kindness, patience, and professionalism. Her communication was timely and always helpful, answering every question I had and making sure I felt confident and cared for throughout the process. It’s rare these days to find someone so genuinely committed to hospitality.I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again in the future. Between the incredible location, the relaxing home atmosphere, and the outstanding support from Susan, this was one of the best travel experiences I’ve had. If you’re looking for a quiet escape near the beach with someone trustworthy to help guide the way, this is the place—and Susan is the person—you want on your side. Definitely worth my stay!

Great Location!

We stayed in the home with two adult friends and my six year old grandson. The house was clean and tidy with plenty of kitchen supplies to cook meals and a nice big fridge with an ice maker. The location is great. It is a quick and easy walk to the beach, but also very convenient to drive and park right on the beach. We did go into Galveston a couple of days, but it was nice to head back “home” to peace and quiet and to be able to enjoy the beach without all the crowds on Seawall. Tips: mosquitos were awful so make sure to bring bug spray. The local Dollar General said theirs always sells out as soon as it hits the shelves. This wasn’t specific to the house, just the area in general. There is not a tub, only a shower. Also, no washer/dryer. There is an outside shower though. We just jumped in to wash out the sand then air dried our suits and towels. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of space for the three of us. The yard is small, but super nice with a fire pit and grill. It is fenced and we brought dogs, but is a low chain link fence, just in case you have jumpers. The balcony was awesome and we were able to enjoy some adult time with frozen drinks using the Ninja blender that is included in the kitchen. There is a book with restaurants and activities inside that was very helpful. I would absolutely love to stay in this house and area again.

Great House, Excellent Location

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this beach house. Its such a great location, so close to the beach. Less than a 5 minute drive, or a short walk. Communication at check in needs to be a bit better and receiving things like wifi password should be delivered by time of check-in. Overall we had a great time and would definitely recommend this listing for a relaxing. family friendly, beach getaway.
