House was clean and well stocked with basics. I loved the decor and comfy furniture. The outside can use a little TLC but other than that it was a wonderful stay.

Our family of 8 (including 2 kids) had a great time at this property over Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen was wonderful and fully stocked which allowed us to cook every meal at home. The house was sweetly decorated for the holidays and was super cozy. The kids loved playing ping pong on the covered porch. The house is located in a peaceful area a few minutes from Oakhurst and about 20-30 min to the south gate of Yosemite. We would definitely stay there again on our next visit!
Beautiful and wonderful stay! Located between Oakhurst, Yosemite and Bass Lake. So much for the kids to do ranging from a one year old to teenagers. The swimming hole across the street provided lots of fun and the cabin’s ping pong table and games kept us all busy in the evenings. Enjoyed both Yosemite and boating on Bass Lake. I would highly recommend renting this cabin. Tastefully decorated, lots of amenities and extras to make us all feel at home. Would rent again in a heartbeat.
Talk about a perfect getaway! The cabin was so cozy and clean! We had 6 adults, 2 toddlers, and a baby, and the cabin was a great size for us. Each of the bedrooms were big, and we had plenty of room for the little ones to sleep in pack n plays and sleeping bags. The location was awesome! The creek and swimming hole across the street were so fun—be sure to bring a bathing suit! Located about 20 minutes from the south entrance of Yosemite. Highly recommend staying here if yourw looking for a getaway near Yosemite!

I appreciate the way this cabin was remodeled and decorated. The old garage has been made into a second living room (which my husband and I used after putting the kids to bed because it’s farther from the stairs and had a neat little electric fireplace). Above this, a screened in porch with a ping pong table attaches off of one of the upstairs bedrooms. The two upstairs bedrooms share a hall bathroom, and the second upstairs bedroom has a twin mattress nook that is not for the claustrophobic. My ten year old son stayed in there while his 15 year old brother occupied the king bed, and while it worked out okay, there were a few head bumps. I enjoy a good built in dining nook, and the master bedroom on the first floor was spacious with a small attached bathroom. We had to kill a few bugs, mostly on the staircase. There was plenty of hot water for simultaneous showers after very long days of hiking. The kids enjoyed the backyard swing and the animal visitors: a calico cat, the neighbors dogs, deer, and turkeys. The swimming hole right across the street was cool, but unfortunately too cold in October to enter. Without traffic this time of year, it’s an easy drive to Yosemite’s South entrance, but I could see it being a bit of a slog during peak season. Overall, a very comfortable home and I appreciated the design aesthetic. The extra touches made it feel closer to home than a dark, outdated, rustic cabin, and it worked perfectly for our family of five.
