Creekside Beauty: Bordering Lewis Creek. Near Yosemite & Bass Lake

If you are looking for a spacious, beautiful home in a perfect location, your search is over. Property sits on Lewis Creek and could be used as a destination retreat. This amazing home was built in 2008 and has all the comfort and upscale features your family needs as well as the rustic charm you'd expect in a mountain setting. The home is lofted, feels like a tree house. In less than 10 minutes you can be in either Oakhurst or Bass Lake. We're 14 miles from the southern entrance to Yosemite.

We do offer the ability to charge your EV!!! We installed a 220 plug and have the Tesla adapter but you’ll need to bring the converter and the cable. If you have an alternate electronic vehicle, I posted a picture of the 220 plug type to make sure you have the correct adapter. Additionally, we have the plug in the garage, which is normally for owners only. Upon receipt of acknowledgment, I'll give you to code to the garage which has the plug & Tesla charging adapter.

Lovely stay at the cottage

My family and I had a lovely time at the cottage… it was warm and homey and included all the comforts… it also has a beautiful creek out back… it was very relaxing and peaceful.

Perfect Location, Perfect House!

This was the perfect location, with easy access to Yosemite, Bass Lake, and the surrounding area. The house itself was wonderful, with access to the creek below and wonderful views. There's a park within walking distance, too!

This Creekside home is awesome! Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Just wish we had more than 4 nights to stay here!

our first VRBO experience

Was a big step to try VRBO but so glad we did. Our daughter said "never back to a hotel room." Owner was responsive whenever we inquired. The home was great for our 3 generations family vacation, and convenient to Yosemite and the Sequoia groves.

Creekside Beauty

This property was simply stunning. The pictures did not do justice for how amazing this place really is! Super clean and overall a 10 out of 10! My kids didnt want to leave. The access to the creek is perfect drops right down into a swimming hole off the granite rocks. My kids really enjoyed swimming in the creek. The sound of the water from the balcony is very soothing. The rooms were very clean. The master bedroom was amazing with the views of the creek as well. We have a larger size family and staying in a home is so much more convenient then a hotel. Gives us the ability to breathe and cook for our kids instead of being cooped up. The kitchen was beautiful and full of everthing we needed. When we venture back up to the area we will 100 percent stay here again. Thank you for everything!

Helpful advice

I tried to send message to host, question about ac. The message wa undeliverable. Tried 10 times. We figured out issue, but would have been nice to have communication. The TV is unusable for local networks. Four of us could not figure out how to get it to work. Loved the creek and pro into all places we needed.

Perfect Home!!!

We started off our trip on the wrong foot! We started our drive later than we were supposed to, mind you we live in San Diego so that’s a 6-7 hour drive, we were having trouble with our EV and my daughter got car sick! I was so over this trip but once we got to the property the first thing we noticed was the sound of the lake right away that was calming! We entered the home and my oh my were we taken back on how BEAUTIFUL it was! My kids wanted to explore the house to pick rooms, we spent the first day exploring Yosemite and it’s beautiful scenery. We ate in town came back home and spend the rest of the day in the lake. We were only here for 2 nights but it was totally worth the drive! Communication with Stephanie was spot on we had no problem whatsoever while our stay. Truly recommend this place!!!!! 10/10

Great Location

Pros: Great location. It felt very private and remote with access to the river. We loved hearing the roaring sound of the river and the property was nicely maintained. It was a short ride to Oakhurst and about 20 minutes to the Yosemite park entrance. The house has a nice sized kitchen & great room and a nice sized master suite. It felt like we were in a cabin away from everyone. Cons: The 3 bedrooms would work best for two couples with younger/smaller kids. One of the bedrooms has bunkbeds and a small twin bed - too small for adults. It was a bit tight for sleeping 4 adults (one couple and two not a couple). The kitchen cabinets were not as clean as I hoped; the pots/pans, dishes and silverware needed washing before use. There were plenty of bath towels, but the white ones were stained. The master bath has no door and the master shower has a window with no covering and a view of the neighbors house. The pros outweigh the cons and we would stay again because of the location.

Wonderful home in great location

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful creek facing resort like house - with the right balance of comfort and luxury and family friendliness. The living room furniture was very comfy and nicely done. It accommodated both families (including 4 teens). The open kitchen and dining are all upgraded and very nicely done up. There is a wrap around deck accessible from most rooms with lots of furniture to lounge on and a dining table to enjoy the wonderful sounds of the waterfall and creek below. The house is very well stocked with lots of games and books for every age. The master bathroom (upper mezzanine level) and 2 bedrooms (lower mezzanine level) are very spacious, neat and clean with beautiful views of the creek and well stocked with shampoo conditioner etc. There was a bunk bed and extra bed and mattress - fitting all the 4 teens into one room nicely! The kitchen had such a large variety of spices, condiments, coffee, oil and vinegar etc, we didn’t have to buy much at all. We got a chance to enjoy the creek every day since it’s only steps below the house, and the flowing sound was therapeutic. The house is situated on a large property with other houses around and felt very safe. And only 15 minutes from Bass lake. Stephanie was very generous with accommodating our timings and very responsive. We will definitely be booking this house for our summer trip next year.
