We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was great! The only issue I had was the fire pit area is on a pretty steep slope. The road to get to the cabin is also very steep but we were told this in advance before renting.

Great weekend getaway for couples. Close enough to local attractions to be convenient but secluded enough to reset in nature. Tony and the Blue Maple team communicate exceptionally well.

Great escape in and around Cacapon region in WV for a week of nature and relaxation. Nice open layout cabin with ample space and comfortable space to move around the common area. Two small bedrooms, queen bed and bunk beds but for sleeping is fine while we use the smaller room as our closet. Perfect for a couple to get away from it all even though it is a distance from Berkerly Springs. So if with the same vibe as us, definitely recommend it and will come again.Water spa, fire pit and grill all a plus and all worked well.

Beautiful, quiet cabin. If you’re looking for a nice relaxing getaway this is definitely the spot. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the location to the water. Online it shows as if the property is directly on the water and it is not. It states it’s a quick walk. But found it to be a rather long walk due to the hills, etc. Besides that everything was great!

Quick getaway

It was a nice getaway. The location was great and easy to get into town. It was quiet and cozy and it was super easy to check in. We would love to go back in the fall and see the how beautiful it is that time of year.

Summarization of property was accurate and perfect for what we were looking for. Look forward to staying again and appreciated the host’s recommendations. Everywhere we went was amazing. Caught off guard local shops only open on the weekend in off season.

The cabin was wonderful. We requested a late check out but no contact was made with us about the option even though it was offered to us. We would have loved a late check out. There were a few bug issues but nothing that effected our stay too much. We would definitely rent here again.

Spent a weekend and it was perfect! Private and cozy with a lot of outdoor things to do. Some insects but to be expected. Very clean and well kept. People in general were very nice in town. Very few things to eat so I would suggest bring stuff to cook since it has a full kitchen and all you need to cook.

Nice and cozy cabin

This cabin was just what we were looking for. Well furnished with comfy beds and sofas. Good selection of movies and games. Hot tub, grill, and firepit also a huge plus. One thing to keep in mind is the steep hill on the drive up. 4WD or AWD definitely recommended

Host was amazing. Very timely response. Excellent get away from the hustle and bustle. Has everything you need and an excellent team lace to take dogs. Great movie selection! Will definitely go back and rent from host again. Exceeded expectations.

Simple and great

An absolute amazing stay if you want to get away and live simply for some time. The property was clean and the communication was wonderful! We did have cell service through the wifi which I didn't expect and the wifi was actually really good, though we didn't need it. The hot tub was amazing and the host even confirmed the handyman checked it before our arrival. Venturing out, there are so many cool places to visit. We stay for a simple (away from a city) side of things and this was definitely one of our top three places we have stayed. I'd highly recommend.

A fantastic get away

A small group of friends used this amazing space for our winter solstice get away. The cabin is indeed 'off the grid' meaning very little cell reception and no internet - which makes for a delightful retreat. We were able to enjoy the fire pit, gaze at the stars from the hot tub, and enjoy so much of the common space and kitchen. The space is very cozy and great for gatherings (too often livingrooms/common spaces feel like an afterthought in rentals). This was a really great space.

Family time

Make sure you are okay with being disconnected from the internet and cell service. We knew this going into it and enjoyed our time as a family together without the distractions.
