Peaceful Zen Retreat - Beach & Pinellas Trail Close By - No Cleaning Fee

Casita del Sol is a unique freestanding guest cottage surrounded by gorgeous Spanish moss laden oaks. Located 1 mile from lively downtown Palm Harbor - home to a variety of restaurants, bars, breweries and more. The Pinellas Trail (also is only 1 mile away) offers endless fresh air & exercise. A short drive south brings you to quaint coastal Dunedin, the famous beaches of Honeymoon/Caladisi Islands & Clearwater. Just north is Tarpon Springs - home to sponge docks, shops, dining & more.

THE SPACE

Downstairs is a bright comfortable living & sleeping area with a pillow top queen bed, cozy convertible sectional sofa & FireTV.

The spiral staircase brings you to the second floor where there is a nice sitting & dining area equipped with a Roku TV. The well stocked kitchen and bath are also located on the 2nd level.

The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, Cuisinart convection/toaster/air fryer/oven combo, a 2 burner hotplate, microwave, NutriBullet Blender & a small drip coffee maker. Additionally, there is a propane grill with side burner available for exclusive use of the casita.

With a balcony off the second story as well as two small patios on the first level to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening libation, indoor/outdoor enjoyment is maximized for your stay.

■ Our property is NOT a good match for guests with mobility issues due to the stairs & kitchen/bath being located upstairs

■ This space is not suitable for small children

☆ Beach chairs, towels & small cooler are available for guest use upon request

This cottage is located on our property, however, our guests will enjoy their privacy.
There is keyless entry and private off-street parking.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

● We love Florida living and all that comes with it....even the wildlife. Guests should keep in mind we share our environment with a variety of wildlife here in Florida including insects, reptiles, birds and more. While we do have regular pest control, you may see some of these friends during your stay. Keeping doors & windows closed and keeping food stored & sealed properly are ways to ensure a little lizard or other friend won't come in :-)

● The purchase of travel insurance is strongly recommended for protection against unforeseen travel interruptions & our cancelation policy.

* We do not charge a cleaning fee, however, damages, excessive mess, or ruined linens will result in a special fee. Thankfully, we've never had to do this in our 3 years hosting & hope to keep it this way :-)

The property was exactly as described. It had everything we needed including the beach chairs, towels and cooler we requested. Heather was great at communicating with us and I felt had we needed anything she was available. It was in close proximity to Tarpon Springs and Honeymoon Island which we came for. We would definitely come back if we were to visit the area again. We had the privacy we were looking for and the home was very clean and I enjoyed the uniqueness of it.

The cottage was true to the listing. Very well kept, plenty of room and nice furnishings. It would have been nice to have Bicycles to use and some Beach towels and Beach chairs, but we were aware that these amenities weren't included, so no issues, just a suggestion.

The home was clean and located in a central location which worked well for us. The bed was comfortable, and the nights were peaceful. The host (Heather) was great, and prompt to answer any questions. Highly recommended.

Great stay

This home is situated in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to main roads in Palm Harbor. It was very well provisioned with any thing one might need. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

The place and owner are perfect for enjoying the easy and relaxing life of Palm Harbor. You have all the essentials in this place. And since you're close to downtown PH, you don't need much more. Definitely will be back

Great hosts, lovely accommodations!

The Casita is in a quiet location easily accessible to the beach and area eateries and shops in Palm Harbor. Close to a great bike path that runs from Tarpon Springs to Dunedin! The Casita is clean, beautifully appointed, private, well equipped, bright and cheery with lots of windows! The hosts are super accommodating, very attentive and intuitive to what their guests need. Highly recommend, especially if you have a friendly dog. Perfect for both two and four legged travelers!

Best House Im Tampa Area

Nice Two-Story Casita

This cute Casita is located approximately 1 mile from the bike trail and navigation to the bike trail is not difficult. The Casita was very clean and stocked with a decent amount of paper supplies, plenty of trash bags and cleaning supplies. It was evident that they really put some thought into the needs of their guests. Heather and JJ were very nice hosts and yes, there is a spiral staircase, which we had no problem with, so if you think you can manage that, I recommend this Casita. Location is great, (it is located in a quiet neighborhood), but close to numerous dining locations. Heather reached out to us just checking to see if we needed anything and she was quick to reply to any question we had. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks for providing such a nice, comfortable Casita.

Such a great stay!

We loved staying at this cottage! I had some business in Palm Harbor and decided to make a weekend of it, and I am so thankful! My husband tagged along with my dog and we had the best time! Not only is the cottage really adorable, but the people that own it (Heather and family) are so accommodating with great communication! We hauled our bikes along and rode on the Pinellas trail, which is so close to the cottage, and rode round-trip 15 miles to Tarpon Springs! We cooked in the kitchen and lounged on the back deck, while our dog Vinny roamed a very large fenced in backyard. He had the time of his life, chasing squirrels and lizards :-) the house was clean with everything you need, including anything you forgotten, like deodorant, and toothbrush. I am already dreaming up of ways to stay here again. Thank you so much, Heather!

Read description carefully!

To use the bathroom or kitchen you must climb a spiral staircase. Yes, it was disclosed, but I missed it. It was VERY inconvenient to live with. Especially at night. My wife needs hip replacement and she was using the outside (regular) steps, since the inside stairs were impossible, but it was dark and the outside stairs were covered in dew and mold, she slipped and fell. We left early. You have been warned.
