Vintage charm at its best. Calming and quaint decor. Extremely comfortable beds. Equipped with kitchen and bath essentials. Good quality towels. I just wished the coffee pot worked and the upstairs wasn’t so warm at night. I loved the courtyard but more space to get in and out of vehicles with ease would have been appreciated. Anything larger than a mid-sized car would be too wide for parking.

Thank you for your review. I would like to address your concerns. The Keurig Coffee Maker is new and working properly. Perhaps you did not have it turned to the proper setting. There is a thermostat on each floor for you to set to your comfort level. You did not adjust the temperature at all during your stay. And there is plenty of parking for guests. We frequently have fishermen with their trucks and boat trailers that fit easily into the driveway.
Wonderful get away in this historic home. Extremely clean, close to downtown and very tranquil. Highly recommend and we plan for on returning in the future.

From coffee on the front porch to leisurely riverfront walks to locally owned restaurants, this gorgeous home is a perfect spot to enjoy the St. Johns River and Palatka! Can’t wait to come back!
This riverfront property is well-appointed, beautifully restored historic home that provides all the modern conveniences you need. It is walking distance from local restaurants, shops and a fantastic brewery and a perfect location for exploring the St. Johns River. We will be back!
It’s an older house that is full of modern upgrades. Higher end linens with comfortable bedding. House is conveniently located close to downtown with beautiful views of the St John’s River
This house is a historic home and it is absolutely beautiful. However, it is still updated and cozy. all the beds were very comfortable, the front porch was lovely to relax on, and our boys loved the water right there so they could fish. The host was amazing. Julie is an Excellent communicator, extremely flexible and a joy to work with. We have already booked this house again in the spring when we will be back there for another fishing tournament.

This home was so spacious! Although we didnt use the back patio area, it was such a cute area for a cookout. Very close to the boat ramp that we could walk to it. Our boys enjoyed their space to rest for their fishing tournaments. The host was always responsive and we totally enjoyed your home.

If you need a roomy, riverfront home base for your adventures along the St. Johns River, this is the perfect spot! Fantastic dock to bring your own boat or to enjoy the famous Palatka sea breeze after a day hiking, antiquing, kayaking, fishing or biking. Plenty of room for a big group or multiple families.
