Cozy Home

This home is perfect for a small family. The yard is a perfect place for children to unwind. The sunroom is a great place to have morning coffee and watch the sun come up. I would 100 percent recommend this house. The house was clean and the rooms were nicely decorated.

The house was clean and ready to go upon our arrival. Backyard is awesome, perfect for our dog to run around and relax after long days out and about. Very quiet and nice neighborhood. Lots of privacy. Close to the beach, restaurants, etc. Garage to park vehicle. We would love to return in the future.

The house has everything you need. Just bring a toothbrush and food and drink. The sunroom is very cool and there are lots of birds to watch. The host, Jana, was pleasant and easy to reach with any questions.

Cozy house with great garden

The Bluff Bungalow is a nice house in a great neighbourhood with a beautiful porch and garden. Jana is a wonderful, caring, helpful host and lets us feel welcome. Groceries are just around the corner, as well as dining and shopping areas. The beds are very comfortable. It was so good to have some complimentary like body wash, shampoo, and coffee/tee in the house when we arrived. We will be back!

Minnesota Escapees from Winter

My husband and I spent two weeks in the house. Our son and family live nearby, so it was easy to get together with them. We've been to San Diego many times and really love it. This was our first time in Oceanside. The house was great. It is as the pictures show. Very homey and comfortable. Our host was in contact frequently and let us know she was always available for questions. We recommend the property!

Great location for soccer tournament

We were in town for a soccer tournament at the sports complex and this house was about five minutes from the fields. It was clean and had everything we needed. There is turf in the backyard which was great for my son to train on. There is not air conditioning in the back bedrooms (there is air in the main areas) which worried me when we checked in since July can be hot but it was totally fine. The rooms cooled down without issue. We will stay again when we come for another tournament!

Perfect little bungalow!

This little bungalow is exactly what we needed for our family. We stayed because we were in between a move and Jana cannot have been easier to work with. She was extremely responsive and flexible. The backyard was great for our dogs to run around. It is completely fenced in and very private. We stayed for two weeks so we did get to know neighbors on both sides who are wonderful people. The entire neighborhood is really great. It’s very close to everything. 10 minutes to the beach with many restaurants and shops all within a minutes drive The home was very clean and well stocked. I would highly recommend this home. There is an a/c unit in the main room but we rarely used it. There is a nice cross breeze that comes through so we left windows open to sleep. It’s a very quiet neighborhood so we slept well.

Great property, great host

We spent a week at this property during spring break. We had many outings planned in the SD area. The location was great for us as we didn’t want to be right in the city, and wanted to be close to Legoland. The house is comfy, cozy, and there are several well thought out details throughout - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, coffee, sugar, creamer, laundry detergent, fabric softener, and a few more…! We’ve been to many places that have none of this. The host checked in with us, and also had a delivery sent asap because the home was low on toilet paper. She was very accommodating during our entire trip and also offered us a late checkout, which we very much appreciated! Overall we had a lovely stay and if we are ever in the area again we will stay here. PS the sunrise from the sunroom/backyard is gorgeous!

Worth a second stay

Pros: Very clean environment. Use of the garage included. All the basic kitchen items included like salt, pepper, sugar coffee, tea and decent knives, laundry detergent etc. Cons: The patio had no screening so bugs can enter in if you open the windows or doors. Limited electric outlets- bring a power strip along. The street and driveway are steeply sloped which made it a challenge for my 90 year old mother to get in and out of the car with her walker. I will gladly return. Jana was a responsive host.

Why they chose this property

I bought this house many years ago, as I fell in love with the cute cottage feel and the great view. Not as good as a full ocean view, but this is what I could afford :) On a clear day you can actually see a small sliver of the ocean looking west from the pergola between the trees. This house is my pet project and I hope my guests will enjoy it as much as I do. One day, I hope to move in full time for retirement!

What makes this property unique

Some extra amenities include portable putting green with clubs and balls and corn hole toss game. My guests have indicated that the yard is perfect for throwing football!
