Staying in Whistler doesn't get better than this! Enjoy our beautifully appointed, luxury two bedroom, view condominium situated right on the main run of Blackcomb Mountain.
The location couldn't be better... Take the skis out of your car and put away the car keys until it's time to depart. Everything is walking (or skiing) distance away but you won't want to go that far from home as you'll have EVERYTHING you need to make this one of the most memorable ski vacations you have ever had.
Our condo has two bedrooms, an extra 'murphy style' bed in the foyer and can comfortably sleep 7.

About Katrina Hoemberg
We are a family of 4 that love to do things together and Whistler is our favorite place to do it (and maybe EVEN moreso in the summer). We have 1 skier/snowboarder, 1 skier, 1 snowboarder and 1 beginning skier who thinks he'll be better than me soon (and probably will be)

Why Katrina Hoemberg chose Upper Village
There was a lot to choose from when we were looking but when we saw the Woodrun nothing else came close. We looked the perfect slopeside locations that was within walking distance of everything but still far enough away from the party scene to allow us to have a great sleep. The building maintenance ws (and still is!) better than almost all in the village and the orginal construction was great quality.
What makes this Condo unique
Being able to roll out on the hill in the morning without a walk or drive is a huge bonus. The kids can zip right over to ski school at the base and we are close to the shops and restaurants. In the summer, the adventure play zone is a stone's throw away for the family and the views of the valley are breathtaking as is the view of the ski runs, now covered in wildflowers

Great location, comfortably appointed. Loved that the Murphy bed is tucked away in a nook, so that it had a bit of privacy.
Great location. Has everything you need, hot tub, ski in/out, can walk to everything. Place is actually nicer than pics. 5 guys went, everyone slept comfortably. Owners were responsive and easy to deal with. Would stay again.
Charming, true ski in ski out, amazing view.
We woke up every day to a mountain sunrise out massive windows and fresh tracks on black comb. Hot tub was kept at a great temperature. Kitchen was as advertised: ready for gourmet cooking. AND it was conveniently walkable down slope to the village. In a rare turn of events for the area: parking was free!
Host was very responsive, super accommodating, and obviously cares about the property very much; we felt like we were in a home, not a hotel.
We booked this because aspens was full up. We will probably look here first next year!
Great value, great location and responsive owner. As advertised in all ways and more
We're a family of four and the place was a great fit. Our two kids, 12 and 15, had more than enough space to avoid each other after a full day of skiing and sleep at night in the bunks. The kitchen had everything we needed and we ate in the condo every breakfast and every other dinner. For those not in the know about the location, this place is literally on the slope. Each morning we would walk downstairs to the ski locker and get geared up. There was a very short walk out the lockers to the slopes where you can see the lift. The pool and jacuzzi were a nice way to wind down and talk about the day. As the other reviews state, the village is close. We walked down the slope to get to the village - easy and quick. Groceries are a bit more work, but once you figure out you can easily walk there and take a cab back it's no big deal. We walked to the IGA in the Village, bought our groceries and then the Grocery Store clerk called us a taxi. It costs around $8 Canadian to get back to the unit with all of your groceries. Truly, a great experience and one we hope to repeat again soon.
One extra note, my interactions with the owner were the best I've experienced. Katrina is very responsive on all matters from the initial inquiry, to payment questions and ultimately to what Whistler has to offer and the unit itself. You won't find a better and more responsive owner to trust with your vacation accommodations.
This unit in the Woodrun complex is a great unit for a ski trip. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. Plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, etc. The electronics (TV's, CD player, DVD player, Ipod player) are all modern and high quality. The building has a large hot tub that holds a lot of people. That makes for great socializing at the end of the day. There is also a full size pool. This is absolutely ski in and ski out. You can walk to the main village in about 10 minutes (which we always did) or take a bus. All the people working in the building were nice and accomodating. We didn't have a single bad experience. I would rent this unit, or in this building, again if we return to Whistler.
