We loved our stay! There was ample space to spend with the extended family but also enough private areas to get away from the extended family! The back porch and yard were incredible and the view could not be beat. The house felt like a home. The kitchen and butlers pantry were well stocked for cooking and entertaining. We appreciated all the pots, pans, utensils etc. We had everything we could possibly need to cook and host.There were extra towels, soap, and laundry detergent, which we grately appreciated for a week long stay. The hosts provided a pack and play and high chair so we did not have to bring one with us. The host was very responsive, quick to respond, and helpful with local tips. We absolutely loved our time and hope to one day come back.

This home was more than expected. It is practically surrounded by water with spacious porches and lawns. Most bedroom rooms were large and spacious, and the common areas were useful for grouping our family clusters. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked with a cabinet labeled as first aid, for example. This stay was a real treat for our family group ages 10 to 80!

This is the best house in Groton, Connecticut. Beautiful. On the water. Sea kayaks. Cornhole. Fishing poles. Lots of beds. Air conditioning. Beautiful porches overlooking the water. Yes fire pit on the back porch. Walking distance to an exclusive beach. We saw a US nuclear submarine go back. We watched osprey fishing.
