Farmhouse Cabin ON Lower Whitefish Lake with bunkroom

Be transported to a place of relaxation and renewal at our farmhouse cabin (built in 2022)- One Oak Landing- named for the statuesque Oak that frames the unbelievable view directly out over Lower Whitefish. The sweeping views will take you in from the moment you enter this idyllic space. Gather around for coffee or something stronger at the oversized island in our chef's kitchen, featuring gas appliances, beverage fridge, full sized refridgerator, dishwasher, pantry with small appliances and more. Our fully furnished deck overlooking the lake is the preferred gathering grounds with gas grill, adirondack chairs, fire table and dining table for 6. A brand sturdy staircase leads down to the dock directly onto Lower Whitefish, where you'll enjoy sandy bottom swimming in one of Minnesota's clearest lakes- rent a boat and scoot all over the Chain, offering more than 14,000 sq km of beauty, multiple restaurants, sandbars and more! Our dock offers spectacular views and features adirondack chairs, a ladder and staircase entry for swimmers of all ages. Come in from a day on the water and cook up a feast while you start up a fire in our gas fireplace. Upstairs you'll find our custom bunkroom that sleeps 6 (two twins over two queens) and is the perfect space for the kids to enjoy their own space with a view! We have it fully stocked with kids sized chairs, family movies and a selection of imaginative toys. Our primary suite features that breathtaking view, a premium king sized bed and a desk with a view for anyone who may need to log in while up north (our high speed internet can handle whatever remote work needs you may have). A main floor bedroom feautres a queen bed and cozy decor just across the hall from the bathroom. Our living room features an oversized sofa for cozying up by the fire or movie watching (log into any app on our smart tv), two swivel chairs to enjoy the inside or outside view and an oversized coffee table for puzzles, games and more (all provided in our game cabinet), and wireless speaker for your music needs. Our spacious bathrooms complete the relaxation mode with spa like finishes, plush towels and robes. We also have a new washer/dryer for life's practical needs. We've designed this dream space to provide all of the ammenities of home combined with decor to evoke the Up North vibes of relaxtion and quality time. Walking trails, punctuated by quietly grazing deer are right outside our door. Simply put- the joy of the lake is at the center of everything we chose. Crosslake and the surrounding area offer shopping, dining, entertainment and more. It truly has something for everyone. Come experinece The world famous Whitefish Chain at One Oak Landing.

What a pleasure to stay in a brand new beautifully appointed home. The beds were extra comfortable with great pillows, something important to me in a rental. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. We loved the decor and the beautiful view.

This was our second year staying at this cabin for our annual golf trip. It was another great trip and I couldn't recommend this cabin any more. Emily was super helpful which made the check-in/check-out process really easy. The views when you walk in still blow me away and the cabin is clean, modern, and has enough room where everyone can have their own space. We will definitely stay again when we come back next year.

Fabulous family vacation on the lake!

This was our second year staying at this impeccable property! It has all the modern amenities you could want, is super clean, has a fun family space with a bunk room, and a prime location on the gorgeous lake. Great dock and swimming (clean and sandy!) right out your back door, broad vistas, and a lovely deck to relax on after a day in the sun! Easy access to boat rentals and boating destinations on the chain of lakes. Local restaurants and shopping are in close proximity. High quality hosts make everything easy and enjoyable!

Wonderful house in a great location on beautiful Lower Whitefish.

We enjoyed an amazing family vacation at One Oak Landing on beautiful Lower Whitefish. The contemporary house was clean and well-maintained. We loved the lake toys that we're available for us to use. The property owners were responsive and even left a thoughtful welcome gift for us to enjoy after a long day on the road. We had a great experience and would definitely stay again!

We loved One Oak Landing! It’s a beautiful, new, modern farmhouse style cabin! It was so comfortable and clean with great floor to ceiling windows. Our kids loved the bunk room! It’s a great location on the Whitefish Chain. We had a great week of everything summer; boating, fishing, golf and restaurants!!

Golf Trip

Was in town to play golf for a weekend with some friends and had a tremendous stay at One Oak Landing. Emily communicated with us in advance of our trip which made the check-in process super easy. The views when you walk into the home are incredible and the home itself is in perfect condition. The location made it easy to run in to town for the grocery store, bars, restaurants, etc. This is the sixth year we've done this trip and we all agreed it was probably the nicest VRBO we've stayed in. Would definitely stay again.

An Amazing Property

One Oak Landing is a true gem! This new farmhouse style home is both classy and group friendly! The space is well thought out with a minimalist style that easily welcomes guests to enjoy each other and the outdoors of the lakeside location. Our three generation family spent three days together there and everyone loved it! All 8 of us would would be delighted to return!

Exceptional lake home

This property is gorgeous inside and out. Immaculate upon our arrival. Host extremely responsive. Beds are very comfortable and the chef’s kitchen was a dream. Bathrooms are high-end. Cozy living room. Gorgeous natural light throughout. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with friends. We stayed 6 nights and did not want to leave. We will definitely Book again!

Wonderful

It was perfect!!! It is just like the pictures and there is absolutely everything there that you could need. The location is great, grocery store close, restaurants and 4 wheeling trails. Nice spot on Lower Whitefish Lake

We rented this property primarily for the location on the lake but also for the bunkhouse with six kids. It was so nice for all the kids to have their own space to hang out with each other. Emily was a delight and super easy to coordinate with. We came to One Oak Landing in January and it did not disappoint. Truly a gem!

Summer Family Time

Our family enjoyed every minute! There was plenty of room for our large group, and Emily and her sweet family have thought of every detail. From our first conversation until our last day, it was a very positive experience. The lake front was lovely, the deck area was spacious, and the house had everything we needed and more. We have rented vacation homes many times, and this the first time kids requested we return again soon!

Dreamy

We had the perfect weekend and weather. The lake, the leaves, the trees, and the paths were all an added bonus. Lots of family memories were made. We went for a hike every day, took out the ATV’s, watched the sunrises, walked the paths, we enjoyed staying warm in the evenings with the fire pit, the fire table and fireplace. We even had many deer visit. The home was beautiful with everything we needed available. Emily was always responsive and very accommodating. Thank you!

Beautiful

This is our second stay here. This home is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Very clean and it has everything you might need. Tge host is very responsive and helpful. The location is perfect. It is on a gorgeous crystal clear lake. We enjoyed sitting on the dock sipping on coffee in the am and admiring the moon and stars at night. We heard the loons sing am and pm. We saw a bald eagle fish and deer ate peacefully in the grass a few times in the backyard. We also enjoyed walking trails right out the back door. We also visited a few good restaurants, a brewery, the cutest coffee shop, haunted mini golf, the ice cream shop, boutiques, and thrift stores all a short drive into town. We went 4wheeling in Emily, a quick drive from the cabin and golfing just in town with stunning views. Thanks for another year of fun memories for our family!
