This beautiful lakefront home rests directly on Big Pine Lake, a peaceful, crystal-clear lake with a sandy beach. The large two-story cabin features modern charm with accents of the woods, several outdoor gathering spaces, vaulted ceilings with fantastic lake views, a 3-seasons porch overlooking the lake, and two separate living rooms.



Enjoy time with family, or a small group of friends, for a vacation experience that offers a getaway with all the comforts of home. Guest access

Full access to the entire house. Driveway and bump out areas offer parking for up to 4 cars. Plenty of space for your ATVs or snowmobiles and trailer.



***During the off-season months of November-April, early check-ins and late check-outs are often possible. Please inquire before booking, we would love to offer this option to you if booking schedules allow!!!***

Must climb stairs — Split entryway with stairs, unfortunately not an accessible entry

Please note the home is next to the woods and the lake, nature is beautiful and all around! Wildlife and insects are a part of life in the area and cannot be avoided totally. We do have regular professional pest control applications, but please prepare for your northwoods experience and bring bug spray in the summer months!



The home has a well providing water for use, which is normal for lake cabins as there is no city water available. The water has been lab tested and safe for drinking, it does contain trace amounts of naturally occurring iron oxide from the soil in the area which sometimes gives the water a slight brown-ish color appearance.

The home does have a Ring doorbell with video capabilities and one outdoor Ring floodlight camera facing the wood fire pit for security purposes. These are only on when activated and are not continuously recording.

Great place for a family weekend

Great location on a quiet lake. Our group of 8 adults enjoyed the different indoor and outdoor lounging areas and always felt like we had enough space. We enjoyed using the canoe and pedal boat, and we brought our own fishing boat. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking tools. Would stay again!

We had a great time! House was big and was very clean. Plenty of room for us all to sit and move around. Kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. Loved the town of Cross Lake, cute shops and good restaurants nearby. Weather was too cold and windy to use the lake very much, but the view of the water was very nice. We had a great time, would definitely come back again.

This house was just as described 😀. Great location, clean, and everything we needed was there. Plenty of inside and outside space for our family to hang out in! Our grand kids spent a couple of afternoons with us and loved the dock. Loved the 3 season porch. Will definitely stay again 👍.

End of summer get away

Fantastic family get away

The cabin is tucked away on a lake and was the perfect family get away. We had four adults and four kids and plenty of room for everyone. The lake was quiet and beautiful and use of the dock for fishing, paddleboard, kayak and paddle boat was the right amount of low key active get away to cap off the summer. The owners were very communicative and accessible. Highly recommend and we would come back.

Beautiful lake views- perfect for sunsets and sunrises! The space is open, fresh, and clean. The walkout lower level has a great mudroom/landing pad to remove wet gear and get ready to enter the living space. We had so much fun and felt close to groceries, coffee, mini golf in addition to the paddle boat, camp fires, and mornings on the dock with the loons. Communication was excellent and check out was easy. Would recommend.

Met every expectation and MORE!

Ryan and Kate’s home on Pine Lake was impeccable. Their communication was timely as well as multi layered. The home had a binder with clear instructions, available accessible items, mechanics of the house….to top it off, the fishing was bountiful just off the dock! We look forward to to another relaxing, comfortable visit!

The guest book was full of important information, it was great. The place was wonderful. One of the gals did take out the kayaks and the weather for fall was good, calm lake. We go on our girls trip, and try different places each year(some of us for the last 25 years), this one is in the top 3. There is always one person who is never satisfied, they would be hard pressed to find anything to complain about.

Lovely cabin in the woods!

We stayed here for a girls weekend getaway. We were a group of 7 and we all had plenty of room to sleep. The cabin is clean and well kept, and they provide towels, linens, etc and and even some toiletries! The property is fairly private and is nice and quiet. We stayed during the winter so we did not spend any time outside, however the place has a lovely view of the lake and they provide all kinds of outdoor equipment for you to use while you’re there. The check in and check out process was very easy, and the owners of the property reached out on VRBO during our stay to make sure we had what we needed. Very pleased with our stay here and would recommend!

Spacious, beautiful quiet place on the lake!

The Jack Pine Lodge is a fabulous place to stay for a big group. We had 5 adults and 2 children. The two bedrooms with king beds are very spacious, with tons of closet space plus a large dresser. The nightstands have usb outlets which was great! The downstairs bunk room has a good amount of space too, and the two teenagers stayed there. We had another guest on the pull out couch down there too. Two adults had to work quite an bit. The screened in porch was a perfect and quiet work station for 1, and the other stayed downstairs in the private bedroom to work. There are also two great outdoor areas to sit. We enjoyed the paddle boat and kayak, and the views of the lake are exactly as pictured! Tons of towels for everyone in the group, washer dryer and detergent, it's all there!! We went in the lake once; right off the end of the dock it was about chest deep and weeds are cleared out. Highly recommend this property, we loved it!
