Cozy Cottage conveniently located on Rt 26 and less than 5 minutes to downtown Errol, home of the famous, L.L. Cote Sports Center. Enjoy the decor to experience an authentic, welcoming, rustic charm this cabin offers. It is a perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. Located in the heart of the Great North Woods where you can enjoy every season to its fullest.
The camp is open year round with easy access to snowmobile trails (from the house) and ATV trails (about a mile down the main road-Rt 26). Machines can be rented in colebrook. Activities in the area are plentiful summer and winter. Snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiing and ice fishing are some of the winter activities. Mountains, trails, lakes, ponds, rivers, and streams provide a multitude of summer fun. We are close to Akers Pond (walking distance/very short drive), near Lake Umbagog for boating and fishing, near Dixville Notch for hiking trails and views, less than 50 miles to Sunday River or Saddleback for skiing and golf. +/- 1 acre of land.

We have a large back yard with fire pit. Sleeps up to 7. The first floor has two bedrooms with a queen size bed in each, while the upstairs has a twin bed and a full bed and plenty of space for more (air mattress is available). There is a television in every bedroom and living room with access to Amazon and Netflix. We have puzzles and other games for entertainment. About the host
Hosted by Kadie L Hodnett
Kyle and I live in Massachusetts and have been coming up to Errol since 2011 to visit family. As our family kept growing, we decided it was time to purchase a house of our own to stay in so we could visit more often. This is how we started Raccoon Reach Rentals in 2000. We now have three houses for rent through Airbnb and VRBO. We have three children who love exploring the Great North Woods and it has been a wonderful escape for us to enjoy the outdoors.
Why they chose this property
We loved the convenience of this property being located on Route 26. It is very close to Akers Pond which is an area our family loves to spend our summer days. The house has a beautiful rustic charm as the interior is all wood.
What makes this property unique
The addition was put on the house 10 years ago and is a wonderful room to relax by the fire and for families to enjoy meals or have game nights.
The backyard is open and a wonderful space to have a fire and enjoy nights outside. We have a grill on the back deck.
