We live nearby and are almost always available for our guests whether you have a problem with anything or a question or suggestion! We have had a lot of success and 5 STAR reviews with this property on other platforms but wanted to expand our reach with VRBO. Besides the house, RV pad and Traditional Navajo tiny round house, we have a quiet adjacent campground with gorgeous Tipis, camping cabins, tent sites, etc. The campground has amenities including two fun covered pavilions, an equipped camper's kitchen, and is an incredible property for EVENTS.

Why they chose this property

This property is unique and very special. You will feel like a local on this rural 40 acres yet also be close to town. Cortez is like a hub for many adventures such as Mountain Biking, Hiking, and Spectacular scenic drives. The famous Durango train is 45 min away and Mesa Verde Nat'l Park entrance just 20 min. There are several local breweries, an impressive vineyard Winery (20 min) Dolores River rafting, hunting, Canyon of the Ancients, drive to Moab or Telluride for the day, etc. This property offers stunning Mesa Verde views to the East and Sleeping Ute Mountain to the West.
