You’ll have a bevy of opportunities for hiking and biking just a short drive away at Geer Natural Area. Plus, the trailheads at Phil’s World are only 11 miles away! At day’s end, fire up the gas grill for a BBQ on the patio, followed by watching the sunset over the mountains. Later, ease sore muscles in the hot tub.

The casa was absolutely charming and exceeded our needs for our stay. It was a lovely oasis in Cortez. The property was well taken care of and had everything we needed to cook meals, relax, enjoy the hot tub, etc. our hosts were helpful and friendly. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the area.

This property was incredible. So clean! New appliances and the sheep roaming around made us smile every day. Hot tub was clean and great temperature. Lots of outdoor space with a grill and fire pit. Location was everything we wanted close to all of the parks aks Cortez is such a cute town. Highly recommend

Relaxing location

We had a great relaxing stay in Cortez. The location is great for visiting Mesa Verde and the home had a lovely patio area with an open view. We BBQ’ed and watched the sunset from the hot tub. We had a great stay

Peaceful hidden spot close to town

We loved our stay recently. It really is a peaceful place to stay & close to town without feeling like you are in the middle of everything. The host couple was quick to respond to any questions we had! We will for sure be back!!

Mesa Verde National Park

This was the perfect location for our family of five to stay when visiting Mesa Verde National Park. The house was clean and well stocked. The owners were easy to communicate with. Internet was reliable. Patio was wonderful spot to relax in the evening and watch the hummingbirds.

The house was interesting and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The paper supplies were good quality. We felt like we were in the country, but shopping and restaurants were close. We used this for a base to explore around the 4 corners area. Outside of the house we were entertained by the sheep roaming the pasture and the hummingbirds visiting the feeders.

Great stay in lovely accomadations

We absolutely loved our stay in Cortez with Wendy and Richard. My friend and I have stayed in many vacation rentals and this was one of the best. Communication was great, property was very clean and well equipped. Mattresses were very comfy and the location was great. We loved walking out onto the trails behind the property and admiring the sheep and lambs. Would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful Retreat

This home is so lovely and such a wonderful place to refresh after days out exploring. It’s spacious, clean, and beautifully and uniquely designed. We loved watching the sheep and walking the trails behind the property. It was also a convenient distance from Mesa Verde (we loved Balcony House!) and Four Corners. The outdoor space around the house was wonderful, the hot tub and lawn and patio in the evenings was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great Rental!

My wife and I, and another couple stayed 4 nights while visting Mesa Verde. This was a fantastic find. The hosts know what they are doing. Nice park like setting, with beautiful outdoor setting. We appreciated the small things - the multiple hummingbird feeders were a nice touch. We felt like we were in Tuscany. Fun to watch the dogs work with the sheep. Location is ideal for a Mesa Verde visit. We will use this one again as a base when we do some of the western Utah parks. Highly recommended.

Cortez Great Find

Beautifully decorated spacious 2 bedroom 2 & 1/2 bath with 3 living rooms nestled on a grassy farm just north of Cortez. Goats were cute and hiking trails out the back gate were a nice plus. Kitchen had everything of excellent quality. Hot tub was perfect, very hot and clean. Owners were very nice!

Perfect to visit Mesa Verde National Park

Quirky, comfortable, cozy house on a sheep farm. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and well stocked with all the needs. Communication with owners fabulous. One en-suite bedroom downstairs with 2 sitting areas, kitchen and dining table. Third living area upstairs with second en-suite bedroom. Outside lots of patio seating. Wonderful stay for 3 days!

Great house and location

Our host Wendy and Richard were wonderful in communicating with from the day we checked. The personal touches were wonderful, the pictures shown is exactly how the house was. We loved sitting on the outside porch enjoying the sunset around the mountains, and I truly appreciated the updated and beautiful kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms. Highly recommend staying at this wonderful home, until next time....

Wendy and Richard were great hostesses. There was communication upon arriving and departing from the property. Their home was comfortable and beautiful. It provided all amenities for my family. It was quiet and peaceful in area with a great view of the mountains all the way around. I highly recommend this property.

Clean, eclectic & VERY comfortable

This home & property is very unique. I have stayed in many places and have to say this was so beautiful with very well appointed details.EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN!! And the furniture was not only beautiful but also very comfortable. Many different sitting areas outside and gorgeous antique touches mixed with contemporary furniture as well.I would absolutely recommend this place and would also love to visit again. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating. 5 stars for sure!

Un-baa-lievably Cozy and Convenient

We had such a wonderful stay at this casa! It was incredibly comfortable and spacious, making it the perfect place for us to relax. The decor was adorable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and truly feel at home. The gas fire pit on the back porch made our springtime trip even more enjoyable—we loved sitting outside in the evening.The sheep were such a fun and unique addition. Wendy was super responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. The location of the casa was perfect for visiting the three national parks within driving distance, which made our trip even more memorable. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped getaway!

Beautiful Home. Super Clean.

Owners were super helpful. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen was pretty well stocked. Washer/Dryer very nice. Hot tub was nice. Pretty small but held 4 people well. Very spacious home and beautiful setting. As advertised. Master bath was great. Very convenient for Mesa Verde. I believe there were very nice hiking/biking trails too but we were not able to use them w/ weather we had and a tight schedule.
