About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Get ready to enjoy this beautifully crafted cedar-shake cabin at the historic 'Log Cabin Inn'. This location offers the pristine river-front atmosphere you are looking for. The over-sized screened-in porch with outdoor furniture will be your favorite place to get together after an adventurous or peaceful day in paradise.

The stone fireplace in the living room will warm your mornings as you prepare for your day on the river, the trail, the slopes, or the lake, while the new beds provide a comfortable night's sleep.

Make sure you 'take-in' all that this area has to offer -- it might be a challenge to pull yourself away from the porch long enough to do all of that skiing, golfing, rafting, hiking, biking, fishing, boating and sightseeing you 'planned' on doing. Of course, nobody else has to know that you just relaxed and 'renewed' all weekend or week... right?

About Lisa and Jonathan Mahody

We're Jonathan and Lisa Mahody, dba, RiverOceanViews Management. We live directly across the river from The Log Cabin Inn and manage several of the cabins, but this is the original -- the one that started it all for our company. This cabin was chosen by the builder of the project as the best location and best cabin on the property.

Lisa and Jonathan Mahody purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Lisa and Jonathan Mahody chose Willamette Valley

This location is the closest to the river of all the cabins in the community. Enjoy the extra large screened-in porch facing the river -- you may never want to leave. This cabin is the only one in the community that offers a door off the screened-in porch to the river.

What makes this cabin unique

The intimacy with the river and the exit door off the huge screened-in porch make this the most unique cabin on the property.

Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

This was a beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting. The roar of the McKenzie River was magnificent! We had freakishly hot weather of 104 F. when we arrived and the cabin was cool.

Very nice cabin and grounds.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I wanted a to get away for a few days. We have always loved the McKenzie River and we were not disappointed in our stay. The cabin was exactly how the photos showed and we were right on the river. Very peaceful, beautiful grounds to walk in nature. There were several wonderful restaurants and a grocery store just down the street. The screened in porch was lovely. Very relaxing. Melissa-Bend, Oregon

Best cabin I've ever rented on the McKenzie

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was beautiful and located steps from the McKenzie river...I was astounded at how nice it was, and I've rented quite a few places along this river. Everything was clean, functional, and clear instructions were provided for driving, Wi-Fi (which worked flawlessly), check-in and out, and key instructions. I was able to focus on fishing and not give my living quarters a second thought (except to relax in at the end of the day). The cabin came equipped with a full kitchen, phone, and wi-fi...not to mention a covered and screened back porch. Importantly, this cabin was dog friendly (and clean as a whistle!), which made my stay even nicer since my favorite fishing dog could join me on this trip :)

Great Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We recently just rented this cabin for a weekend, a very nice little place to get away! Very clean, quite and relaxing. I would recommend this for a short stay for people who love to hike, fish and kayak!
