Perfect location! Close to everything you may want to see or do. Property is a little tired - needs some refreshing, but very clean. This is a main level unit with a unit above. If occupied above, it can be quite loud (you hear every footstep). Overall, this is a nice property in Carlsbad.

Great location. Easy walk to Carlsbad village, even easier walk to a great beach. Condo was in good condition and clean. It’s a bit old obviously and nothing fancy, But pretty solid for the location and price. Heads up if you have a large vehicle parking is very tight

Perfect Location in Carlsbad!!!

This condo was so perfect. The crosswalk to the beach was right there, so a huge plus for trusting our young teens to go back and forth. The parking space was a huge plus, especially for he holiday weekend. The owner was super responsive to all of our messages. The check in and check out were the easiest of any place we've stayed. Overall it was just right for our family!!!

Perfect Location

The house was in a great location to Disneyland and San Diego...about an hour to both, but the best part was the beach right across the street. Easy to walk to. House was great, clean with heating and air. Laundry was right around the corner (bring quarters). Driveway was tight for a Chevy Tahoe, but husband made it work...lol. children loved their room with the two twin beds and the stuffed animals were a cute touch. Overall a great stay!!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. We live 30 minutes inland but stayed for a mini vacation. Was a great location to the beach across the street and walking distant to many shops and restaurants.

Perfect location

We have stayed twice now. Both times we had a great experience, the location is perfect, easy to walk to the beach and shops. The area is quiet and so easy to navigate. We look forward to staying again.

Location is everything

We had a great stay. Easy parking, no problem with access into the unit. Neighborhood is quiet and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to enjoy in Carlsbad. We will be staying again!

Met our needs perfectly!

This was a great place for my small family. The 2nd room was perfect for my preteens with two twin beds. We were able to get to Legoland very easily! Thanks for the great stay, we are hoping to come back in the future to actually explore this cute ocean area!

Overall very good. Manager very responsive! Location great but unfortunately lots of fog which no one can control. Worked out for family reunion.

Our Annual Beach Vacation

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the beach. Our grandchildren live close by and they came often to go to the beach. Restaurants are nearby and best of all, we made the trip to Legoland with our grandchildren, a 10 minute drive from this condo.

great location, comfortable condo

We enjoyed a great 6 day stay at unit B. Unit B is a stone's throw from the beach and has a partial ocean view. The owner has gone to great lengths to ensure the bedrooms are comfortable with portable ac, ceiling fans and floor fans. We had good communication with the manager/owner via email and text. The WiFi works perfectly and all TV's are up to date and have readily avialable access to Netflix and YouTube. Good price and highly recommended.

Family Trip

The location was exactly what we wanted, because it was right across the street from Tamarack Beach, close to Legoland, and not that far from the San Diego Zoo. The apartment was a perfect size for myself, daugther and two grandchildren. The apartment was a little outdated and needed to be cleaned a little better. The kitchen had a smell, but I called, and the owner was going to be checking on that. Overall, we really liked our stay. We would stay again if we took this same trip.

Anniversary Stay

The location was perfect but the stay was disappointing. The condo was very dated. The blinds weren't functional which didn't allow us to enjoy the ocean view. The parking was very difficult with the very narrow driveway. The side of the lower cupboard was filthy and there was no regular size trash can.

Getaway by the beach

We loved this little place by the beach, it is exactly what you see online, very clean and CLOSE to the beach! It is a just a bit further away from town than we would like for walking, but definitely doable. Property manager is very accessible and accommodating. The only suggestions I would make is to have a few more pans in kitchen (specifically large), a couple more toilet paper rolls when staying a full week, and pump soap for the bathroom for washing hands. It’s gross to use bar soap for days.

Amazing location!

We were right across the street from the beach, which made getting there so fast and easy! We called the property owner to let him know the remotes for the ceiling fans weren’t working, and that the bathroom sink was clogged. He responded immediately and unclogged the sink and brought replacement fans over until he could fix the remote situation. I was impressed with his response time. I wish I would have known the washer and dryer were community, and that you need $2 in quarters for each load. I had to walk 15 minutes down the road and stop a few places before I found someone that carried that many. The property itself was a little rundown and could use some updating, but it was perfect if you want to be close to the beach.

Great Location, Needs Some Updates

I want to start by saying that Fernando, our host, was excellent. Very responsive, dropped off some dish towels and a bath mat during our stay (both of which were absent on arrival), and helped when the internet went out and the door lock seemed not to be functioning correctly (this was user error). The location, just south of Carlsbad Village by about .8 miles and across the street from the beach, was amazing. Our family enjoyed the walks to the Village to get dinner at Gregorio's, ice cream at Handel's and breakfast at the The Goods and Super Donut. The property itself was, as some other reviews have described, musty in odor and in need of updates. There was some visible rot and deterioration of the wall near the shower beside the vanity. All of the interior doors are in need of repair. The couch in the main living area is rickety and I was worried it would collapse under my weight (I am 6'1" and 200lbs). I spotted various insects inside during the stay. On a positive note, we did appreciate the AC units in the bedrooms. Overall, we enjoyed the convenience of the location and the responsiveness of our host but would not stay here again.
