Our house, which is located 5 minutes on foot from the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums, is an apartment located on the 2nd floor, with lift, of an elegant and well-kept historic building, which has a concierge.
The apartment consists of:
- a double bedroom equipped with a Frau bed with latex mattress measuring 160x190 cm, a spacious wardrobe and a smart TV;
- a comfortable marble bathroom with Teuco shower;
- a living room with equipped kitchenette (gas burners, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle) which is enhanced by a comfortable 3-seater sofa, on which to relax after admiring the wonders of Rome, seeing the other TV. If necessary, the sofa easily transforms into a real double bed (cm 160x190) with a 20cm high memory foam mattress.
To experience Rome not only as a tourist but to feel part of the eternal city, Colosseum secret domus is the ideal location.

The apartment was beautiful. Very easy to find and access. It was exactly as described. It was an easy walk to the Coliseum and Rome Forum. There are a lot of choices for food in the area. Our host was easily reached and very responsive. We would rent here again if we return.

We love staying in Monti; it's like being in a small town in the center of a big city.This property was excellent for our most recent stay. It's wonderfully located and was entirely sufficient for our needs. It was clean and very comfortable. Gabriele is a superior host. From the check-in through the stay, the communications could not have been better. Everything about the stay here was top-rated. This is an apartment we would stay in again without hesitation.

Enjoyable week in Via Baccina

An ideal location within 30 minutes walk of most of Rome's attractions, but also close to Cavour Metro too. Monti is a vibrant place with lots of boutique shops to explore. The apartment had plenty of room for a couple and the little kitchen was sufficient enough to cook simple pasta meals in. I would certainly stay here again.

Perfect stay

Perfect stay over the weekend in Gabriele‘s appartment. Close to all important spots in old town room. Many restautants and Bars around. Despite busy surroundings it is a quiet appartment. Fully equipped, you do not miss anything. Gabriele was personally present at check-in to help with all the details. We would come back!

A true gem of a stay!

What an incredibly wonderful stay. The apartment is impeccably clean and has every single thing you would need. The bed was so comfortable, and they even provided a soft and harder pillow. Gabriel was prompt, attentive and informative. Of the 5 locations/accommodations I stayed at during my time in Italy, this one was the best. The location was amazing. Every single thing you could want is just steps away. I loved that I could just pop in and freshen up and go right back out. Such a well equipped apartment and thoughtful host left few questions. When I had a question, Gabriel responded immediately and was able to provide the information I needed. I felt so safe and "at home" here. My only hesitation in writing this review is that his place might not be available the next time I want to stay. Thank you so much for this amazing time. I am so grateful.🙏

First time Rome travelers

We picked this property for its location in the Monti district and location to the Colosseum, Forum and walking distance to train station! Gabriel met us to help us check in/out, give us access instructions and walk us through the apartment. It was a good landing spot, close to many restaurants, gelato, bars .. even right on the street a few doors down. The bed is comfy, small kitchenette with Nespresso! Shower is tight but functional. Nice space for resting after walking the city daily. It was hot the first 2 days and the AC was not helpful. We had 2 portable fans with us to move the still air to help us get to sleep. Weather cooled down then fine with windows open (European way). We did some laundry in the washer and used the drying rack to lay it to dry! Worked great! Cute little place in a good location. It would be tight for 4 people but there is a small couch that opens to a bed that we did not test. It’s located in an access controlled building that is some rental/some personal apartments. Cute interior space. One note.. taxis do not like to come to the door for drop off so you may need to walk up from the main street.. short easy walk. Slippers provided! Good find!!
