About Bill Clarkson

I'm a full time Scottsdale resident and part time Sedona resident. I don't spend enough time in Sedona, so I thought I'd share the experience.

Bill Clarkson purchased this cabin in 1985

Why Bill Clarkson chose Canyon Country & Northeast

The beauty of Sedona never ceases to amaze me. This has been a second home family retreat, a very special place and get away from the heat and big city. It's quiet, peaceful, in the forest snuggled beneath the huge Sycamore trees and just 40 yards from Oak Creek. There is a huge blue heron nest high in the trees just a short walk away. There are 4 seasons, but rarely does it snow and never lasts long. Always cooler than the Valley of the Sun. The location is great, just minutes from all the tourist attractions, shopping, great hiking, but in a small private residential community of 12 custom homes, just steps away from the national forest.

What makes this cabin unique

Peaceful and quiet, shaded all year round, Oak Creek is just steps away, beauty abounds. All of Sedonas amenities are near. It's a great get away.

A lovely, comfortable cabin

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is exactly as described. Very comfortable and quiet and includes everything needed to accommodate a beautiful Sedona getaway. We didn't have kids with us, but it is very family-friendly. The great location is an easy walk to Tlaquepaque, and a short drive to Uptown Sedona and many fabulous hiking trails. The owner was very responsive to all inquiries . Wouldn't hesitate to rent this cabin again.

Tranquil spot close to Uptown Sedona

  • 5 of 5

A charming cabin in a very quiet spot by the creek. The cabin is very homely and feels as though you are staying at a relatives second home! Bill couldn't have been more helpful and attentive both before and during our stay. The kids loved the swing and treehouse. Recommend a trip to Slide Rock State Park - super fun despite the cold water!

Fantastic cabin in the perfect location! Stop looking and book this one!

  • 5 of 5

I spent quite a bit of time looking for a place to rent for my Mom's 65th birthday weekend in Sedona. I tried booking places up in Oak Creek but they were all booked or too expensive. I am SO glad that was the case as this rental ended up being perfect!!! It is located right across from L'Auberge with easy access to the amazing creek. It is not fancy - but by no means rustic or too outdated. Plus, they have all the comforts of home and necessary supplies to buy food, cook at the cabin and enjoy dinner on the porch listening to the creek while the kids play in the tree house or on the tree swing. If you want peace and quiet, while only being 2 minutes from the main part of Sedona, this is the place!

Modern cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had a very nice stay. The cabin has lots of great amenities - TVs, high speed internet, washer/dryer, grill, etc. Tree house and a swing was a hit with the kids. Owner was very helpful and made lots of recommendations for activities nearby.

A short walk to Oak Creek. Across the creek and up the hill to Uptown Sedona or a short 5 minute drive. Tlaquepaque (a Mexican modeled shopping village) is a must see. The galleries are fantastic and unique to the area. If you are into New Age, the center is just a 7 minute walk.
