Mickey's Pool House- Minutes away from Disney World

Mickey's Pool House Retreat is a luxury villa with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms located in the highly desirable Windsor Hills Resort and just 2 miles from the gates of Disney World. Our well equipped villa has a private screened in heated pool and spa and Harry Potter themed game/theater room. Windsor Hills is a beautiful resort that has a clubhouse and large heated resort pool with two large slides and kids splash pad. We have everything that you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation.
The space
Mickey's pool house retreat has plenty of sitting areas, including a 6-person patio table and a small outdoor grill. Our pool can be heated for all-year-round swimming with plenty of pool toys for the family to enjoy. We provide complimentary pool and spa heat (which runs between 8 am and 8 pm daily) to a maximum temperature of 82 degrees for the pool and 104 degrees for the spa (dependent on rainfall/wind).

We have themed rooms throughout a beach room, animal kingdom room, harry potter room, and frozen room. Our Harry Potter-themed media room will entertain the whole family with an 82-inch tv, couches, and gaming stations. We have onsite parking for up to 3 vehicles. We have so much to offer for guests of all ages.

Fantastic!

This is the nicest VRBO we have stayed in, after having stayed in many in Windsor Hills. It was clean, had a well appointed kitchen, a great pool and hot tub and a very cool movie room. The kids loved their Harry Potter themed bedroom, and were so impressed with the details. Definitely hope that this one is available for our next trip!

Couldn't Have Been Better

Hands down the best Vrbo experience we've ever had. From reservations, to check in, to the stay, to check out... Everything was so smooth and communication with Kevin was excellent. Not to mention the place itself! My 7 year old daughter couldn't contain herself when she saw the Frozen II room. It's very clean, impeccably decorated, and has everything you need for the stay. We even found little kitchen staples in the pantry so we didn't have to buy all of those odds and ends. It looks EXACTLY like the pictures. The clubhouse, pool, water slide area, and market are all great perks. Everything in the whole community is very well maintained and everyone is very friendly. Some things to know if you book... Not having a car was a challenge. Only because our Uber drivers and delivery people had to get thru guest security each time. It's very secure, which is a good thing, but something to keep in mind when deciding whether to rent a car or not. The clubhouse is also a good 10 minute walk from the condo. It's a nice walk and there are a couple of playgrounds on the way, but without a car, you really had to commit to going there or coming back! I really can't even be nitpicky about anything. There are 0 negatives to booking this amazing condo. I will absolutely stay again if I get the chance!

Beautiful home!

My sister and I had an amazing stay in this lovely home. We could not believe the attention to detail! Everything was sparkling clean and the owners were wonderful to work with. We will definitely look to book here again!

Great house, definitely recommend

The house was amazing, the themed rooms were even better than pictured and the game room had so many toys and activities for the kids to do, it entertained them for hours on rainy days. The property managers were great and very responsive and the pool was heated so that it was warm even on the coldest winter day. We definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Great spot

We had a great time and while we've stayed in the community 15 times or so, this was our first stay at this house. We really enjoyed it and will be back.

Wish We Had Spent More Time There!

Great location for ease of access to Disney Parks, groceries and restaurants. Property lived up to online depictions, was clean, updated, and very nicely decorated for both the Universal Studios and Disney themes. Game room was a huge success with a 6 and 15 year old. We would definitely rent here again.

The Kids Were Excited

The house exceeded our expectations. The details incorporated were amazing. Our kids young and big loved it. The pool was also nice. Wish we could control the air conditioning ourselves. Thermostat would auto adjust to like 75 after a few hours which in the day time is fine but at night I kept waking up to adjust back to 70 (the lowest allowed temp.) Other than that the house was amazing. Felt very secure in the gate community and not too far from disney which was a plus.

Excellent Home!

We had a wonderful experience! We have stayed at several Windsor Hills homes in the past and this was our favorite. Our hosts were very responsive and the property was just right for our group. We particularly loved the game room and the pool!

Last Gasp of Summer

The pictures do not do it justice. The home is beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked. The furniture pieces and the roominess was great for entertaining friends and giving space to family. One of The things that surprised me, is that each bedroom had thier own bathroom. The beds and smart TVs in each room was wonderful. The pool and hot tub was wonderful. I went for a swim almost every day. The area is peaceful on a little culdesec. We had a great time. Oh I would be remiss if I didn't mention the game room. The kids enjoyed the xboxes and the adults took over the pacman/galaga arcade console. Took me back to my college days

Perfect Disney Vacation Home

Perfect home for a Disney vacation with young kids! The house is very clean and the pool/hot tub is wonderful. There’s a door alarm and pool gate to ensure the kiddos are safe by the water. The Harry Potter game room is stocked full of costumes, toys, and games. Our children loved the themed bedrooms. Highly recommend!

Great vacation getaway

We really loved everything about this house. It was spacious, clean, modern and loaded with things to do for both adults and kids. The pool and hot tub are great, and the kids enjoyed all the toys in the playroom/theater. The location was great, a quick drive to Seaworld, Disney and all the attractions in the area. The owners were quick to respond to any questions.

CALLING ALL WIZARDS & WITCHES

Our son thought his letter from Hogwarts had finally arrived when we walked in Mickey’s Pool House Retreat at WindsorHills. Not only was his bedroom decorated in an elaborate Harry Potter theme but the gaming room / theater room are Potter full immersion. The walls are intricately hand-painted. You feel like you are in HOGSMEADE station one minute then you arrive at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry the next. There are more Harry Potter Easter eggs in these two rooms than there are in all of Universal. Whether you are a Hufflepuff, a Ravenclaw, a Gryffindor or a Slytherin, you will really enjoy this house. If you are not a Harry Potter fan yet.....you will be! And that is just the first two rooms. We have stayed in many of the Orlando pool home resorts and this house is our favorite now. This is a really beautiful home, freshly redecorated and well appointed. The furniture is gorgeous and very comfortable. The artwork is spectacular. The floor plan is open and spacious. We had everything we needed and much more. Disney has some magic here too. Your Princess will love this house. The Frozen room with its breathtaking mural is unbelievable! There is even a teepee if Northuldra is more to her liking than Arendelle. She can really be any Disney Princess she likes here with the beautiful costumes Erika supplies. Erika is so attentive. She really cares about your vacation and goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable. We loved Mickeys Pool House Retreat so much that we have already booked two more weeks there this summer! Highly recommended for all who seek a superb vacation!
