If you’re visiting the area to fish or enjoy the rail trail there’s no better place to book. Home was clean with sufficient amenities for a comfortable stay! Host was easy to communicate! Grab your rod and go fish!
This is our second visit to the Cabin in Slate Run. The cabin is nice and cozy and our family lives it. The location is perfect on the waterfront. We live the wildlufe and riding the rail trail. Hope to be back again next year!!
My friends and I stayed at this cabin and will definitely be back for our annual hike/bike/kayak trip. The cabin is in a great location, was clean and cozy but we all loved the porch area. Great views and plenty of amenities to keep us busy. The owner was super responsive and helpful throughout the entire booking process and trip itself. Highly recommend.
Needed a break from political adds, and enjoy the PA grand canyon. Even got a chance to wet a line and catch some trout. Had beautiful weather to enjoy the foliage. Enjoyed a nice fire pit early evening, and the wonderful dark sky stars. Look forward to visiting again next year.
The beautiful cabin located right on Pine Creek and across from the rail trail made the access to all activities so easy. The accommodations were excellent! The kitchen was well equipped. The deck facing the creek was a delight to watch the wildlife on the creek. An eagle perched on a branch right across from us for a long time! Extremely enjoyable family experience!!!
Great location for biking and kayaking. Steps from creek and bike trail. Bike shuttle to Wellsboro available 2.5 mi up trail in Slate Run makes for a great one way trip back down through the gorge to the cabin. Manor house at slate run was a good place to eat and hang out on the deck. Cedar Run Inn was a nicer place to eat but still reasonably priced. Cabin had everything we needed, and owner was very accommodating. Would like to come back in the fall to do some hiking.
We had a fantastic extended Labor Day weekend at the Pine Creek. The house was just the right size for us, 4 adults and 2 children. Our granddaughters enjoyed the loft bedroom with bunkbeds and little reading nook. The view from the patio was amazing. Chris was very attentive and kind. The house also had extra kayaks and bikes for us to use. Rail Trail is directly across the street and easy access. Home was modern and it's the perfect location to disconnect and relax. Thoroughly enjoyed!
