Located on a quiet road just off Route 100 in Stowe's Lower Village, this home offers privacy and easy access to town, the mountain, and all points north and south. The main level of the home features a lovely living area with wood floors, a roomy sectional sofa, and a no-fuss gas fireplace with a brick surround. The walk-through corner kitchen is large and boasts stainless appliances, tile backsplash, loads of natural light, and cupboards a-plenty, and counter space to prep for a crowd! A cozy dining room with table and chairs to comfortably seat twelve rounds out this wing of the level. Down the hallway are two guest rooms with a shared full bath, and the primary suite with large windows, a seating area, and ensuite complete with soaking tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity.
The lower/ground level of the home includes a second entrance with an adjacent walk-in storage closet—tile floors and pegs galore make this space especially useful for hanging and drying gear. Handsome barn doors open to lead to the sizable family room with double couches and a large TV for movie night. An alcove in this room has been furnished with video gamers in mind—a second large TV and additional seating are set up for online fun. A small door and two little windows are tucked under the stairs leading to a playroom for the little tots on the trip and providing hours of creative fun (this space may also be accessed from the walk-in storage closet). The far side of this level is home to two additional guest rooms and a shared full bath. A great family home where even your pets may be considered guests! Please note the wood stove in the basement is not operational. For the warmer months, minisplit a/c units have been installed on both levels and cover the entire home.
