Joenrannalla vetäytyminen uima-altaalla, graniittivesiputous, kylpylä, biljardipöytä, pelihuone, pingispöytä, näkymät, kalastus, golf, 5 makuuhuonetta, 3 kylpyhuonetta, iso ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistettu keittiö, 3 takkaa, ulkogrilli, upea näköala, mänty, tammi , puutarha, intialaiset hiomakivet, 5 hehtaarin vaeltaa, ulkoilma-ja ruokailutila, iso suuri huone, avoin ruokasalikeittiö, minuutit Yosemiteen, minuutit Bass Lake -järvelle, kullanvalmistus, haukat, punasiiran mustanlinnut, sininen haikara, ankkoja, munia, nielaiseita jne. Nauti ulkona ulkopuolelta tämän yhden tason, 3000 neliömetrin kauniissa kodissa, yli 500 jalkaa tai joen rannalla. Sijainti on ihanteellinen. Joen varrella, josta on vuoristomaisemat, siro puut, upea vesiputous uima-allas / kylpylä ja paljon muuta. Tämän kiinteistön haaste on jättää se!

Sisäänkäynnin kohdalla ja kiinteistön ympärillä on valtavia graniittikalvostojen sivurakenteita. Kodissa on aksentti graniittikivistä ja niiden ulkopuolelta, punapuulevyinen mestarikylpy, tammitynnyrit, kaikki korjattu kiinteistöltä. Kiillotetut betonilattiat pitävät kodin viileänä kuumana kesällä ja auttavat ylläpitämään lämpöä kylminä talvikuukausina. Sisäkatot on palkittu ja viimeistelty mäntyllä. Hotelli sijaitsee minuutin päässä Yosemite, Bass Lake ja Oakhurst. Olohuoneiden ulkopuolella ovat ruokapöytä ja mukavat tuolit, uima-altaan ympärillä olevat oleskelutilot ja Adirondack-tuolit joen varrella. Keitä ulkona ulkogrillillä tai keitä myrsky ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistetussa keittiössä. Laitteita ovat Viking-induktioliesi, Thermador-kiertoilmauunit ja paljon muuta. Istu graniittikallion vesiputouksen alla sisäänrakennetussa uima-altaan reunalla tai hyppää 3 'kallion päältä uima-altaalle. Tietysti voit uida sylissä tai kellua uima-altaassa nauttimalla auringossa. Upota varpaasi jokeen ja katso, kuinka punahäntäiset haukot liukuvat puiden välillä.

Hango-tuolissa auringonlaskuun saakka ja tarkkaile hirvieläinten, kanin tai mahdollisesti supikoiran saapumista joelle. Ehkä ahventaa itsesi graniittirannalle ja pohdi sitä, milloin Miwok-intialaiset käyttivät jauhatuskiviä aterian valmistukseen tai kokeilevat sitä itse. Aseta krokettisetti ja pelaa ympäri kavereidesi kanssa. Joki muistuttaa enemmän puroa elo-syyskuussa, joten tutkittavaksi on paljon enemmän hiekka-aluetta.

Lots to Do

Though it's an older home, it had modern appliances. There were lots of pits/pans, cutlery, baking & serving dishes ... There were also plenty of towels for showering and swimming. Plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained right on the property. Beautiful swimming pool and spa. The only drawbacks were that the pool was not ready to use until the poolguy came the day after we arrived and that, at first, we had to call the property manager to turn on the spa whenever we were planning to use it. That was remedied the next day when he gave us access to turn it on and off ourselves. The property manager was always very quick to respond to questions and needs. Everyone had a great time. Our 17yr old grandson said this is the best place we've stayed so far in the 8yrs we've been doing this.

A little something for everyone

Our family had a great time at this property. There were activities for all: swimming in the pool, floating in the river, or hanging out in the nicely air conditioned house to play games.

Nice location and space

Great location for our daily outings - the ranch home had plenty of space for our group, and we enjoyed the pool as well. Unfortunately the hot tub was down for maintenance but we enjoyed the outside deck area for dinners. The house could use some maintenance care - loose faucets, some lighting out, random TV remotes/soundbar not working and so on, but overall great stay for our friend reunion.

Perfect place to relax with family!

Beautiful and quiet home that was perfect for family to be together. The pool was wonderful for the hot days, and there was plenty of shade down at the river to enjoy that area as well. It’s a short 35 min drive to Yosemite south entrance, and only 10 mins to Oakhurst. Overall, already ready and wanting to go back!

Something for everyone.

We had 6 adults and 6 kids. The layout of the house was perfect. With the pool and the river in the back there was no need to leave the property. The kids stayed outside and busy the entire 4 days we were there. We brought in our own groceries and were able to cook all our meals. I highly recommend this property for anyone with a group with many ages.

Absolutely beautiful!!

The property was amazing! Tons of space, very private and a view to die for A few maintenance and amenity issues but nothing that can’t be fixed. Hot tub wasn’t working but it got fixed by the second day. No propane for the bbq so we couldn’t use that. All the bathroom sinks were slow draining. The kitchen utensils are lacking if you plan do cook a bunch.

Awesome River house

Sooooooo much fun. Beautiful views, gentle river access, and lovely pool. Wi-Fi is understandably slow. Well supplied for cooking. Long ride to Yosemite valley, beautiful grassy yard, and a abundance of swings.

Amazing property for families with active kids

This property is very beautiful, spacious & unique, and we had an amazing stay. We were a group of 12 with 6 teens, and we had a plenty of space inside and especially outside! The property is amazing and the area beautiful. There is access to great mountain bike trails outside of Oakhurst. There were so many activities at the house (pool, ping pong, bocce ball, badminton, the river, tree swings, the fantastic big pool, games, etc) We were outside most of the time, but were very comfortable and occupied when inside too! Communication was great with owner and manager.

Great location and area, overshadowed by poor service

This property is spacious with good facilities and in a lovely area. We stayed for a week with a larger family group. Unfortunately there were a series of issues concerning repairs and lack of utilities which were not responded to by the host (including leaking sink drainage, inadequate air con and lack of property maintenance). On check out day there was scheduled maintenance to electrical lines that we were not made aware of and so had no electricity, warming food in fridges, no lighting and no running water for toilets or showers, just as we were due to check out. There has been no further contact from either the host or from VRBO concerning our complaint. Despite the nice location and scenery, this trip was unfortunately overshadowed by very poor service.

Great family trip

Had a great stay at the property. We were a group of 14 with age range from my 1 year old to mother in law of 70. Management and owners are very responsive. The house is older but everything worked well and appliances looked newer. For what we needed and wanted to pay, we were very happy with it. We did see a volleyball court in the pictures and we were excited about that because most of us play volleyball but looks like the heavy rain washed out most of it so we were not able to use it. It was not in the description of the property, just saw it in the picture and got excited about it. Enjoying the backyard was the best part.

A Diamond in the Rough

This older home was certainly roomy enough for our family of 6 adults & four kids. We drove to Yosemite one day & spent the rest of the time on the property. The river was still running & the kids enjoyed playing in it. The pool was a hit. Both the pool & the hot tub were well maintained. One caveat: the pool is not fenced in. We were not comfortable leaving the children outside unsupervised. The pictures with the listing should be updated. Some of the outdoor furniture seen in the pictures is gone. The volley ball area is in disrepair. The dining rooms chairs & a living room couch are now covered with slipcovers. A double oven shown is missing the top oven & a toaster oven sits in the space where the oven was. An opaque light panel in the kitchen was replaced by a clear one, exposing the inside of the light fixture. The deck railings look fine but are unstable & need to be repaired or replaced. Supposedly the appliances were replaced in 2021. But during our stay, the top rack in the dishwasher did not work at all. The kitchen sink faucet wasn’t properly attached. In the master bath, 1 sink stopper didn’t work & we had to prop it open with a straw. Steve, the onsite manager was attentive but unable to fix these issues during our stay. Considering the condition of the house, we thought the rental price was reasonable. With greater investment, Riverbend could go from a good place to stay to a great place to stay.

Caveat Emptor! Do not waste your money!

This house is in dire need of some serious updating and is not very clean or sanitary. We could tolerate the dirty kitchen cabinets, dated wood paneling, and the Brady Bunch inspired dining room table. However, the tiny sunken bathtub surrounded by the unsightly collection of plants and the menagerie of insects they attract was a bit too retro for us. My wife did not appreciate having insects crawl on her as she soaked in the bathtub. Additionally, the mattress in the master bedroom is very old and worn. The edges collapse and the bed squeaks loudly. We wanted to use the grill to barbecue some meat. Unfortunately, frogs had taken over the grill. These slimy reptiles carry salmonella. This was not exactly appetizing. Frogs have also taken over the pool. Not surprising, considering all the debris in and around it. Our kids had to avoid the edges of the pool fearing that spiders and frogs would jump on them. The hammocks were riddled with bird droppings and tree sap. The bathrooms were not cleaned properly. We found dirt and urine splatter between the toilet seat and tank. Also, many of the pillows and beanbags were crusty and dirty. The house has central air. However, it is an older unit and is extremely loud. Consequently, several family members had trouble sleeping. The original flooring has been replaced with polished concrete flooring. It extremely slippery when wet and poses a serious safety concern for children and elderly. We had several close calls. Potential renters should also know that this house is located about two hours from Yosemite Village. Thus, if you are planning a trip to Yosemite, this location is not the most pragmatic choice. Also note that there are two properties on the lot. Moreover, there is a small barn about 60 feet away from the main house. It is occupied by permanent tenants. Thus, if it is privacy that you desire, look elsewhere. To make matters worse, the owner decided to keep our entire security deposit. He claims that we checked out late and that we left trash for the housekeeper to clean up. Please keep in mind that the owner (Fred) lives in San Francisco and never inspected the property himself. We have never encountered any establishment that has penalized us for checking out a few minutes late. Clearly, this is the owner's custom and practice. My guess is that he does this every time to augment his income. He also charged us an additional $600 to heat the pool during our one week stay... Classy.

Family fun

My family and I had a wonderful time at the property. We took walks around the river. The kids swam in the pool every day and we enjoyed the hot tub at night. We played several friendly game's of pool and my son and husband did a little gold panning. The house was in good shape and had everything we needed. We cooked dinner every night and used the BBQ. We had a wonderful time and the view from the home is beautiful. We enjoyed the sounds of the river and all the friendly birds when we had breakfast outside in the mornings. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond. Check in and out was easy. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Very nice property but dirty.

The dishwasher was broken and someone had put away the dishes in the cupboards with food caked on them. We paid $350 for cleaning so I assumed the house would be clean. It looked like the floors had been cleaned in the middle. There were dust piles behind and under the furniture.

We loved this house so much and are so sad to leave. It’s a magical place with the beauty of the mountains and creeek behind the house. The pool and hot tub are amazing. This home and its surroundings is just amazing. Our family spent equal times at the river and the pool as well as relaxing and exploring the area (Bass Lake, Sugar Pine Railroad, and Yosemite). Can't wait to come again.

The location of this property is phenomenal. It was perfect for our family spring break and first experience in the area. Thank you so much, everyone had a blast!

Family Friendly

Beautiful home and property! Very family friendly home, with excellent floor plan to accommodate a large group. Well stocked kitchen, lots of games and books available for guest use. Two things that should be added are a vacuum cleaner for guests to vacuum area rugs, and a rake to rake leaves off bocce ball court. Our family had a wonderful time!! We will definitely be back.

Perfect and Secluded Riverfront Cabin

An absolute beautiful riverfront cabin. The whole family and I absolutely enjoyed the quietness and especially the nature of this location. It was awesome to have the golf course nearby and local restaurants such as the Southgate brewery to enjoy good food. This house had five spacious bedrooms for all of our guest. It had Wi-Fi and cable TV for streaming a good movie at night. Lastly, the pool and Jacuzzi made this location even more magical, deafly will be returning back!

Great family getaway!

Riverbend is a great place for a family get away. We spent most of our time outside during the day and came inside to prep dinner and gather around the large dining table. Outside we had great fun in the pool. We didn’t bother with heating the pool, so it was great on the 95+ degree days! Bocce ball is always fun, especially if you play while there is still some shade on the bocce court. We brought our own croquet set, so it was a fun course on the grass in the backyard since there is a slight incline to challenge the players. The pool table saw action at night after dinner and the game room plus two of the bedrooms can be closed off with a pocket door if others in the three other rooms are sleeping. There are bat houses in the trees at the end of the house opposite the pool. Go out there at sunset and wait a few minutes and you’ll see the bats swoop out of the bat house on the nightly bug hunt. Unfortunately, the second oven had died before our visit, so we made due with the one oven. Two ovens would have been great for our pizza night, but we made due. Our pizza stones fit the oven just fine. We look forward to coming back maybe in the winter or spring. You’ll love this quiet, relaxing retreat.

Paradise

Riverbend is awesome. The location is so beautiful you don't really have to drive out. The house is more than fully equipped with real good appliances plus great games and sports equipment

Perfect for family gatherings

It was just the four of us but there were so many places on the property to hang out separately or together. Very comfortable, clean,would definitely stay here again. Ran into the caretaker at the end of our stay, nice guy. Property owners are very considerate. Even in late July there was water in the river, on the property. We spent a whole afternoon hanging out in the river feeding the fish. The pool was the perfect temperature. We loved taking naps in the hammock, chilling out in the multiple seating areas in back and swinging on the heavy duty swings. Love this place!

Yosemite and Bass Lake

The property was the perfect size for our multi- generational family stay with plenty of room inside and out. We enjoyed the pool, spa, swings, fishing, eating and just sitting and visiting outside. The air conditioning worked well and was welcome with the high heat and the need to stay inside one day because of poor air quality. There was a pool table that got good use that day. The view out back is gorgeous and the area was quiet and felt secluded. Golf was within a few minutes on a beautiful course. Shopping in Oakhurst was convenient. We also enjoyed two days in Yosemite and another two at Bass Lake. Overall, our stay was relaxing and fun.

Amazing home

My family had the best time being together in the beautiful pool home. We had so much fun swimming, exploring and just being together! Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will definitely be back!

Ever since I first saw Yosemite in the fall of 1997, I fell in love with it. As a family we have been visiting Yosemite multiple times a year and never get bored of it. Thus it became natural for us to get a vacation property in the favorite place on earth. We wanted a riverfront old world charm with modern amenities and close proximity to Yosemite.
We found the perfect place and did not have to think much before diving right into it. We are so lucky to have this house!

Great for family reunions, and gatherings. Ever changing river and private beach is great place for kids and adults. Amazing views from in the backyard.

Things you can do at the property.
1. Enjoy the River ( huge attraction for kids...)
2. Relax by the pool and enjoy swim under waterfall
3. Birdwatch right in the backyard with a cup of coffee in the morning
4. Take a stroll by the river, collect rocks, play with kids
5. Relax in one of the hammocks
6. Play games , volleyball, ping pong, bocce ball, Pool etc
7. Sleep under the stars
8. Walk around the property and enjoy the tire swing and feel young again
9. Hike along the River and come back and relax in the hottub
10. Cook, enjoy a drink with family and friends
11. Take lots of pictures. These memories will last for ever!
