Beautiful townhome, great location, fantastic patio. Clean, well stocked. Bedding was comfortable. Parking was easy - we were able to have a spot right in front of the home. Great spot for families and close to many restaurants. Would recommend bringing you own shampoo/conditioner/bath soap.

Host was friendly and seemed helpfull. House was great. Biggest issue were the cockroastes and ants. No one came to add more traps when called. Baby ants in bathroom also.

Perfect for a family vacation

What a beautiful location and close to town so that we could enjoy restaurants and shopping. Our children enjoyed surfing at the neighborhood beach. We had the best week with them and the house was very comfortable for us all. The property manager was very easy to communicate with as well.

Nice place to stay

We enjoyed our stay in a great unit. We had everything we needed. Only negative aspect was presence of the ants and cockroaches in the unit, so we had to be careful not to leave food on the countertop.

Amazing experience

This place was incredible. Awesome location beachfront property with a surf spot in the backyard, wonderful open concept living room, spotless house, kitchen has everything you need, nice air conditioning and just overall excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back!

Great Stay

We had a great stay. It is an end unit so it was very quiet, private, and the views were incredible. Great layout for our family and the pools within the community were great for the kids. Close proximity to downtown Lahaina. Not close enough for us to walk but a very short drive. The parking situation was very easy for both of our cars as well. The house had plenty of beach towels which was an added bonus.

Beautiful beach front condo.

Condo had all the basics to start the stay. Beds very comfortable. Large table for dining and cards very important. We enjoyed the unit and highly recommend to those that follow you will not be disappointed.

COVID-19 Get Away

Our time in Maui was exceptional!!! Felt so good to finger away....and feel safe. Hawaii and restrictions are so well organized. And the home....was a amazing VRBO rental. From size to comfort to location it was beyond our expectations. We are planning our next visit ASAP. Mahalo

June 2016 Stay

This home was awesome. The location could not have been better. We enjoyed waking up and having coffee while watching the surfers just feet away. We enjoyed the same at night with a glass of wine. The sound of the waves was so relaxing. The fully opening glass wall of doors made the experience amazing. The four bedroom and four bathroom layout was perfect for our family. And the pool area was very nice too, great view of more surfers and the beautiful sunset which was also good from the house, just a little harder to see. We had to call for service twice for minor things and our needs were attended to very quickly. We would definitely rent again when we return to Lahaina. Thank you!!

Very enjoyable, would stay again.

We had eight adult family members and all really enjoyed our stay, though one room, as correctly advertised, had smaller children’s beds that required us to push together for one couple, so this is a better property for 6 adults maximum I would say. The door lock was funky and a challenge to open and lock, and i think is in need of replacement. We were greeted by a few unwelcome friends on the floor when we arrived (mostly dead), which surprised us because we felt the unit was very clean, and noticed no intruders the rest of the week. The location on the beach was awesome; the master bedroom my wife and I never wanted to leave. Our family had rented a very extravagant place in Kauai the week before, and an informal poll of which they liked better leaned toward staying in this unit if they had to choose again, which I think says a lot.

Fabulous for a family vacation

We were 3 couples and two children which turned out to be a perfect number. We arrived to a home that was easy to get into and spotlessly clean. We had 2 rental cars and parked one in the designated spot and paid to park the second one in a nearby unreserved space. My husband and I stayed in the master suite upstairs. It was wonderful to sleep with the sound of the crashing waves and wake up to the unobstructed view of the sea. The suite included a sitting area and a large and 2-sink bathroom. There is a small deck with two chairs and a little table - perfect for an early-morning cup of coffee and watching the kids playing on the beach. The 2 main bedrooms downstairs were large and comfortable. In fact all the beds were supremely comfortable. We all slept really well. The small bedroom with 2 twin beds was perfect for the 2 10-year olds. The kitchen was large and well-appointed with everything we needed to make simple meals. The large table on the patio was perfect for meals with the whole family. The location is really the best thing about this condo. A quick walk (20 yards?) and you’re at the little opening where you can access the beach. Along the way is a little outdoor shower for rinsing off. The beach itself is uncrowded - just the other condo residents - and the waves were always just right for body surfing, even for the girls. All in all, this is no doubt an exceptional way to spend a week in Maui. I would highly recommend it!

Fabulous view

Property was accurately represented online. We were 3 generations celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary - 2 sons, spouses and kids 14 and 17. Bedrooms with en-suite were perfect, shared space large enough and outdoor space was where everyone spent much of the time relaxing. Easy walk to Old Town and centrally located for our other activities. Beach towels were a huge plus but there was only one set of bathroom towels in each room. We were happy to have the washer/dryer to keep up. Floors were not very clean and we swept up them all the first day so it was clear they had not been washed. This could be improved by adding a mat outside the door and rug inside. Owner/manager needs to be proactive with regular bug control. We had 2 vehicles and followed all the Puamana condo association rules. They are relentless about parking and it seems petty to charge for the second vehicle after such an expensive rental. Consider working that out with the owner behind the scenes so the guest is not harassed. We brought in an executive chef for our last night and he was very impressed with the kitchen and condo (except no exhaust fan which we alleviated by having the glass doors wide open!). This was a once in a lifetime vacation and overall everyone was VERY happy with our accommodations!

Ups and Downs!

Pros: Amazing view. - You cannot beat this view. 10 Yards from the ocean and you can see the ocean, the island of Lanai, and mountains. Swimming Pools. - Several swimming pools were onsite and close to the unit. Modern interior. - The inside was modern and nice. Lahaina - Although we didn't consider it walking (20 min or so to main restaurants, shops, and bars), we found it an easy Uber ride to Lahaina. Cons: - No nearby beach - This unit does not have central air conditioning. The bedrooms have individual units, but they were not adequate. Two of the four bedrooms were not working as expected. The main living area has NO air conditioning. We stayed for 5 days and felt we were always uncomfortable at the house from a heat standpoint. This was a huge deal for us. After being in the sun all day, we would have loved to come home to a cool house. - Cockroaches. We were told that cockroaches are a "part of the Hawaiian experience", but I have never seen a cockroach at any of my many stays in Maui. We experienced HUGE cockroaches at this location...despite our best efforts to remove food, garbage, etc.. we continued to have a big cockroach problem. They were massive sized cockroaches...over an inch long, and they were running through the house throughout our trip. To close...the house was very nice, the view was amazing, but I am not sure I would return to this property. The air conditioning problem is a very big problem for us, and the cockroaches were incredibly disturbing.

Aloha, Thank you for leaving this review and alerting us to the pest control concerns. Terminix services all our properties every quarter thus we rarely have problems with coach roaches. Fortunatly when alerted they respond within 24 hours and the problem is solved. My apologies for the confusion about the AC we don’t advertise the property as having central air, it has air conditioning in the bedrooms and ceiling fans throughout the home. When you brought the AC concerns to our attention we promptly responded and have replaced those in need of repair. We have an excellent management team and I am sure you will agree they responded quickly to your concerns. The oceanfront sliding glass doors open all the way across the front of the property (special steel beam installation) providing a unique indoor outdoor experience for enjoying the ocean breezes and outdoor Hawaiian Life style. This property has a strong return following as many guests believe its dramatic oceanfront setting, sound of the surf and lanai just 25 feet from the water is better than a beach. Having a 30 foot wide private shaded deck with lounge chairs, lanai furniture, full kitchen, BBQ, all the amenities with ocean access just 75 feet away makes for a one of a kind oceanfront experience. Of course when there is a beach it’s the best of both worlds. The beach in Puamana like all of Hawaii’s beaches offers highs and lows. In my 25 years of living in this beautiful property I have seen the beach build to a magnificent 80 foot wide half mile stretch to almost zero on several occasions; Nature cleaning the sand and shoreline. Family Vacation in Maui

This townhouse is absolutely beautiful. The master suite is magnificent. Working with Vacation-Maui was really easy as they were very responsive to our needs. Found two issues with the unit. The first major disappointment was finding roaches in our unit. Unfortunately, I was so impressed by the photos online I did not read the comments. Seems like others have had the same issue. Secondly the bedroom with the twin beds was really tight for 2 adults. Unit is perfect for 6 adults and a little tight with more... I would recommend reading the reviews before booking to see if the roach issue has been cleared up
