Perfect for a small family

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The bunk beds were a hit and perfect for kids that aren’t quite old enough for their own room, but also allowed mom and dad have their own bed! The space was open, comfy, and very clean and the location was right next to Town Center. The washing machine was a bit finicky and kept stopping on the rinse cycle, so we had to have maintenance come out to check on it. Wasn’t 100% fixed after, but we were still able to finish our loads eventually!

We feel about 10x lighter here — everything is so easy and the amenities are wonderful!! We’ve stayed in several types of properties at CS, from 5-bedroom houses to “cottages” to condominiums, all of them beautiful, impeccably clean and very comfortable. The staff is super friendly and helpful. To sum it up, while we are here our stress levels go from 10 to zero and we feel like we’re living like kings. It’s pretty awesome!

We did have some hot water breaker issues the first day but they were quick to fix it. My only complaint would be that we flew to get there and they didn’t provide beach towels. Therefore we had to go buy beach towels for our stay. Everything else was wonderful and we definitely want to go back!

Exactly what I'd expect from a beach vacation rental

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The entire property is designed to be dependent on you bringing/renting a golf cart, which would have added to the expense, but they would not let us rent a golf cart for a 2-night stay anyway. We couldn't check-in at arrival and were never notified that our unit was ready, apparently because the previous guest had smeared poop all over the bathroom and a manager never inspected the cleanup job. Our unit was marked no-pets-allowed, but was covered in white pet hair. Our upstairs neighbors were loud - there's little insulation, if any, between units. We were charged for drinks we did not order at the pool restaurant on two different days by two different servers. The "Greek" salad at the pizza restaurant was mostly a plate of neutral oil. Overall, we had lots of small issues, but we'll likely be back in a few years - hopefully after improvements are made.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, well-maintained, and decorated nicely. Love the bunk bed in the master. Only complaint is that there is not a closet to hang your clothes and the pantry is locked. We had to put the majority of our food on the countertops. Some food was able to go in the cabinet over the stove, but it didn’t hold much. Unfortunately, I would not stay in this condo again because of these reasons.

Thank you for your honest review. We are so glad you enjoyed the bunk beds; we love them too! However, that used to be the closet you were looking for. What we did to try to fix this problem was to put extra hooks throughout the condo to make up for this. As far as the pantry space, we will look to see what we can consolidate in our cabinets to make room for food storage. We have tons of extra kitchen cabinets for food outside the pantry. Thanks again and although you will not stay at our condo again, we hope you will stay at Cinnamon Shore again!

Lovely One Bedroom Unit at Cinnamon Shores

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed a short last minute getaway in a 1bedroom unit at Cinnamon Shore. The unit was tastefully decorated and the furniture fit the space well. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, coffee pots, etc. There was a generous supply of start up supplies (ie, paper towels, dishwasher tabs, etc,). Our unit was a short walk to the beach. Nightly activities such as “ Movie Under the Stars” and “S’mores” were offered. Checking in and out were hassle free. We had a very pleasant experience.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our room was very clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The room was the best part. The customer service was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. I made a call before our stay to ask a question regarding parking and golf carts. My inquiry was met with a poor attitude and I was given short, unfriendly, one word answers. I tried not to engage guest support/ services thereafter. We made conscious effort NOT to ever speak to a representative at Cinnamon Shore for the duration of our stay. Alternatively, the staff at the restaurants, market and Top Deck were lovely. We tipped them all heavily when we were able.

People were right on top of each other! Also the beach was not as well kept as it was when we were there last year. Need to clean up the seaweed better. Port A Memories is a nice condo, but we had barely lukewarm water during our entire stay.
