Relax with the whole family on 100 acres of seclusion in a pine forest. Be close to everything yet away from it all. 20 minutes to Lake Huron and several inland lakes. Located on main road that is maintained year round. Private trails perfect for horses, atv, utv, and snowmobiles. Adjacent to state land and miles of trail access. 30 and 50 amp service for trailer hookup. 2 established horse paddocks and plenty of picket space. Indoor mudroom for winter gear. Near river access for kayaking.

A cozy getaway tucked in the woods.

Home away from home; It had all necessary amenities and a great kitchen to cook in, a nice tv to zone out to, wifi to work away from home with and beds to comfortably rest in. Would visit again!

Wonderful Getaway

We had 3 of us couples with our dogs and had a wonderful time. Owner was very responsive and accomdating. Property was very clean and well maintained. Was a very nice and peaceful getaway.

Great place to eacape

The property was very nice and the house was really clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the secluded location and the serene atmosphere. Very well equipped. We’d love to come back!

Awesome oasis

Great secluded property. Trails are fun for an atv or dirt bike. Owners were great at communicating. It was a great time for us and our dogs. Love that wood was provided for a campfire

Beautiful property. Fully stocked home very comfortable for a relaxing stay. Decent but very reaponsive communication from property manager. A bit of a strange requirement for burning garbage.

Alpena Cottage

Comfortable cottage with everything you need for housekeeping. An open field surrounded by tall pines is hidden from the road. A big barbecue grill, table and chairs makes eating outdoors easy. Song birds and an occasional deer makes for a nice atmosphere. Lots to do in and around Alpena, parks, pickle ball and museums.

Nice house with nearby woods

The rural location made for a very pleasant week. It's very nice to walk the trails through the woods on the property (saw 3 whitetails). The lack of light from neighbors makes for good star gazing. The house is well-equipped and everything worked great. I hope to return.
