About Andy Toms
We live in Edmonton Alberta, which is icy cold in the winter. We couldn't resist getting a place somewhere warm, and really liked Palm Springs We want to share our getaway with others, when we can't be there.
Andy Toms purchased this Apartment in 2010
Why Andy Toms chose Twin Palms
Love Palm Springs & love the architecture and history of the Ocotillo Lodge. Really enjoy the floor to ceiling windows in our apartment - makes you feel closer to the outdoors!
What makes this Apartment unique
The condo is on the main floor, and close to parking, so access is easy. The private patio is a lovely place to relax if you don't want to be out by the pool. Downtown Palm Springs is just a short distance away, and Smoke Tree Commons shopping area is just a couple of blocks down the street, great for groceries and snacks.

We felt at home.A very satisfying experience.
Thank you Sylvia
I'm delighted that you enjoyed your stay, we have tried to make our place as comfortable as possible for our guests.
Fabulous location, pool area and Mountain view!
Great location!! The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was very comfortable, great linens and towels. I loved the patio with view of mountains. The pool area was fantastic (great view) but could use more umbrella tables. Andy was very easy to coordinate with and Ric Gomez was great. I appreciate prompt return on damage deposit.
My only negative would be the couch is funky. We had a great stay and I would love to come again for longer stay.
Well stocked comfortable and clean condo
For the most part my husband and I enjoyed our stay. The things that could be controlled by owner were very well done. Everything you need is supplied. We cooked at the condo everyday and there wasn’t one thing we needed that wasn’t there. The bed is very comfortable and clean. There is even a little library of books and movies.
There is no bathtub, just in case that is super important to anyone. I sleep with earplugs and my husband sleeps through pretty much anything - yet we both woke up every morning to the people upstairs at 6 am. Sounded like children riding on little push cars on hardwood flooring - nonstop. Very unfortunate and just bad luck for that week for us.
Lots of great places to run and super convenient location.
We really enjoyed staying at Ocotillo Lodge. It's close but not too close to downtown and the apartment was neat and clean with lots of little touches that were appreciated. I enjoyed the pool and the hot tub and was pleased to find that our host had left beach towels and suntan lotion for us! Plan to come again!
Thank you Tina, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay.
I love the small apartments and great pool, hot tubs and amenities at the Ocotillo! We will be back
Nice, clean space. Everything we needed for bathing and cooking at home. We will be back.
I'm glad you enjoyed your stay Megan, I look forward to hosting you again
A cute little one bedroom condo. The condo is located near the parking lot and Hwy.111. It is noisy with street traffic and the garbage trucks that come every morning at about 8:30am. The pool is lovely, and we did spend time there most days however unbeknownst to us they drained it and refilled it and it was unavailable for a week of our stay. The condo is equipped with everything you need, and the bed is extremely comfortable. The location was ideal for us as you are minutes from downtown Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Palm Desert etc. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would most certainly rent again because of the affordability and the location. Special thanks to owner Andy Toms for providing a clean, safe place for us to experience the desert life!
I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. The pool closure was unfortunate, but they had an extremely intense rainstorm that washed mud onto the parking lots and into the pool, requiring the HOA to bring in cleaning trucks to clean off the parking lot and sidewalks, and to drain and refill the pool.
This type of event is a rare occurance indeed in a desert.
The Ocotillo Lodge is located in South Palm Springs, sheltered away from the wind, and close to the downtown area. Great for dining, sightseeing, shhopping and hiking. Joshua Tree National Park and San Jacinto State park are a short drive. The Ocotillo has a rich Hollywood connection, and I highly recommend the historic walking tours put on by the Palm Springs Historical society.
