Great OCEAN VIEW 3d Row house. Renovated in 2021

Saturday to Saturday, 1 week min. 103 Clark Rd.
Short walk to beach access (200-300 feet), beach access is directly in front of house at end of Clark Rd. This house was completely renovated during 2010/11, inside and out. Interior of house was completly repainted 2019/2020. New deck and covered porch added March 2021. Outdoor dinning table with seating for 7 on covered deck. New deck furniture added for summer of 2021. Great kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Large eating area with seating for 7. Spacious family room has a great ocean view and has a large (smart) flat screen smart TV, separate sitting room off of family room with ocean view. Downstairs bonus room with large screen smart TV, great for separate kids space. Stereo systems (with Bluetooth) with in ceiling speakers in all common areas and outdoor speakers to listen to your favorite music while relaxing on the large outdoor deck (half of deck is covered). Spiral staircase connects the 1st and second floors. 2 spacious master bedroom size bedrooms with queen beds (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs), 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds and 1 bedroom with 1 full bed (both downstairs). Smart TVs in all bedrooms. All TVs have HULU plus Live TV. Ceiling fans in all rooms. Great 2 zone air-conditioning system to insure your comfort. All rooms are comfortably furnished to ensure you'll enjoy you time while not swimming in the surf.
Large outdoor shower with hot and cold water and a separate changing area. Large second floor outdoor deck with covered area has dinning table and several Adirondack chairs to enable you to sit and relax while enjoying the view.
Linens not provided to keep costs down, available on the island if you do not want to bring your own. Pillows and blankets are provide. Weber gas grill provided. (Beds: 2 Queen, 3 Twin) In an effort to keep costs down I do not provide linens......if you would like to rent linens you may contact a local vendor to deliver and pickup at house. House has drip coffee maker as well as a K-cup. Most people do not like the taste of Emerald Isle tap water, most use bottled water. Max number of adults is 5, max number of guest 7) Exceeding max will result in loss of security deposit.

Great House and Great Location

Beautiful house with a very short walk to the beach. Great views of the ocean from the deck. Also very close to shops and restaurants. Overall a great location for a fun beach vacation.

Family beach trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Emerald Isle. The house was a perfect size for 6 people. Easy walk to a beautiful and uncrowded beach. Couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Loved this place!

Such a lovely home with plenty of room. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Family and dining rooms were open and accommodating. Location was perfect! Just steps to the beach. Kids enjoyed outside shower. Deck was perfect for relaxation evenings.

Great family getaway!

Bill’s house was immaculate. Great layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms and very well-equipped kitchen. Bright decor and plenty of seating in the family/living room. The upstairs deck area is great. Comfortable Adirondack chairs and sea views. We ranged in age from 89 to 24 and all had a great time!

Nice vacation rental

Wonderful house and location

The inside of the house is clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, but with the new deck and covered porch, we spent most of our meals and house time outside. The walk to the beach is very short and direct. The beach itself is beautiful, spacious, peaceful and clean. We highly recommend this house!!

2nd stay here and will plan a 3rd

It has been 2 years since our last stay here. I'm happy to say that everything about this house is still great: the inside is very clean and sized right for the number of beds, the kitchen is well stocked, the deck / porch have nice 2nd row ocean views and sounds, and the beach itself was not crowded, with plenty of space at high tide. We will be back for a 3rd stay.

Nice family time at the beach!

My husband and I spent lovely time in this house with our two grandsons and their parents. The house was big enough for our extended family. The living room was bright and spacious, but the best place was the deck with nice breeze and view. The walk to the beach was really short so it was easy to run to the beach with 3 and 5 year olds as soon as rain stopped. Unfortunately, we had to leave early due to the storm but really thinking of renting this house again next year.

Very enjoyable stay

Great home in a perfect location. There are two access points to the beach within a short walk. The home is in a great spot near shopping and grocery stores, as well as the beach. We really enjoyed the outside deck which was spacious and had a view of the water. The home was clean and the rooms were great sizes. We weren’t aware of the spiral staircase as it was not in pictures, but I do understand it was written in the listing after looking back- just something to be mindful of, but wasn’t an issue for us. There was a nice homey feel and overall a great experience, we hope to be back next year.

Relaxing beach trip !!

This beach house was a fantastic location! The description was very accurate and we were able to rent linens which worked out perfectly so we didn’t have to travel with them. The house was clean and the kids really enjoyed having the downstairs to themselves. A little more living room lounge / comfy seating would be great for parties of more than 5 as everyone fought over the couch during downtime 😃 The deck was awesome for morning coffee and The washer / dryer made things so easy - all my laundry was done before we even headed home ! Thanks for a fantastic place to stay with a short walk to the beach !

Great location

Beautiful house and close to the beach. My only complaint is the queen mattress downstairs is very soft, and my husband and I had a difficult time sleeping on it. We do have a huge weight difference (120lbs), so people that are relatively the same weight would be fine. My daughter and I had no problem on it. Highly recommend and the owner is great.

Excellent location and family stay

This is a great option for family or small group of friends, in an excellent location for a quiet stretch of beach and all the EI amenities. Simplicity at its best, with the most important components of a beach vacation for everyone. The property and house are clean and well maintained, and functions very well for beach life. The house has a variety of comfortable spaces for relaxing at the property. It’s great to have spacious parking in case you need it. The outdoor dining is perfect in any weather! (Anyone with mobility difficulties or those with small children should keep in mind there is a spiral staircase) Our family LOVED this house!

Our first time renting with VRBO and it was wonderful from start to finish! Bill was very prompt to answer my questions before we rented and even while we were there. The house was clean and well decorated. The beds and living areas very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We ate our meals on the picnic table on the deck so we could enjoy the views and the sea air. We enjoyed the Aquarium and Fort Macon but mostly we just loved being together on the beautiful beach. It was such a memorable vacation for our family of 5 and we are thankful to have had this time at Bill's house!

Ideal location and accommodations!

We were excited to have a week of salt water therapy and this property was ideal! A very short walk to the public beach access and a wonderful elevated deck. Literally, every meal we ate at the house was had on the deck. Covered, lights, speaker, great furniture and an awesome view…. Perfect for meals, games and laughs!! The interior was just as nice, bedrooms and baths exceeded our expectations. The outdoor shower (completely private) was a GREAT addition, literally 3 of out the 4 of used exclusively). If I could added a hose to spray off the walk it would have been perfect. Overall, Bill + the property we nothing short of excellent! When we return to Emerald Isle, I have NO doubt where we’re staying!

Ladies Week in Emerald Isle, NC

Four great friends get together each summer for a Ladies Week. This year we spent a WONDERFUL WEEK in Emerald Isle at this charming, beach home. The house had 4 bedrooms and was plenty big enough to meet all of our needs. The beach decor was bright and fun. From the large outdoor deck, we had a beautiful view of the ocean and could hear the waves hitting the shore. Beach access was close and easy to get to. The owner, Bill, was extremely helpful in answering any questions we had and provided us with all the information that we needed as to restaurants and things to see and do in Emerald Isle and the surrounding areas. My friends and I all agreed that this was our favorite of all the houses we have rented during the past 8 years! I would definitely recommend this property to rent and would love to come back again! Family vacation

Bill’s house is very clean and in close walking distance to the beach access. The 2nd week of June was not crowded and we always found a good spot on the beach right by the access. The best aspect of the house is the deck. It’s large enough for a table seating 7 plus a grill and the uncovered portion includes another sitting area. When we weren’t on the beach we were on the deck where we ate all our meals and enjoyed the ocean breeze and a bit of ocean view. The surrounding trees give some privacy. It’s 10 min to Publix and other shops/restaurants. This is the first house we stayed in that did not provide linens/towels so you have to add that to the cost or bring your own. We cooked all of our dinners but one and found the cooking items adequate. I only missed a broiler pan and cheese grater. Except for pepper there were no spices at the house or aluminum foil/plastic wrap,etc These are things that we have typically found in other houses we’ve rented but perhaps we’ve been lucky to have stayed in houses with basic kitchen supplies that are not actually indicated in the listing. Not a big deal but just something to know when you plan your shopping if you plan to cook a lot. Housekeeping did not leave any toilet paper or paper towels either but Bill mentioned that was their mistake. Our master bed on the main floor was on the firm side which was ok for a week. Overall we really enjoyed our time at the house and would definitely stay here again!
