Beautiful and comfortable! Our family home is ready to warmly welcome you and your family. Why stay in a hotel room when you can stay in a beautiful home with gourmet kitchen, spa bathroom and gorgeous back yard. Enjoy the 2 gas fireplaces or warm up outside in the hot tub. We are a non-smoking property. Fern Haus is 5 minutes from SEA airport and close to light rail. Burien is a small community with great restaurants, shopping and breweries. Des Moines marina is 10 minutes south with restuarants and parks. Seattle’s T-Mobile and Lumen fields are 15 minutes to downtown, Seattle's Pioneer Square and the waterfront. Fern Haus is ready for you with 3 bedrooms all with queen size beds, comfortable mattresses and hypo allergenic hotel style quality bedding. There is one full luxury bathroom with walk in shower featuring a rainfall shower with an adjustable hand shower and heated floors. There is a powder room off the kitchen. Our home is basically on one level with two steps in the front door and one step down to the family room with smart tv which opens up to a big beautiful patio and amazing back yard with patio dinning, hot tub and gas bbq. The kitchen is the center of our home with a large island and top notch stainless steel appliances gas range, dishwasher and refrigerator. We have stocked the kitchen with quality dishes, glassware, cookware and serving pieces. There is room for your family here with 3 bedrooms a front living area with gas fireplace, big open kitchen and large family room with another gas fireplace. Step outside to our patio with string lights on the arbor and a bbq. The garden has plenty of grass to play on with nice shade trees and is fully fenced. Steps away to the big hot tub set at 101 degrees. There is easy parking for 3 cars. We are close to the airport but we have upgraded insulation for a peaceful nights sleep. A newly installed EV charger is availble for an additional cost. Enjoy our private home like a luxury resort! Dog friendly if your dog is well behaved and under 50 pounds. Requests for more than one dog must be pre approved by owner. Each dog is an additional $25 per night per dog. Sorry no cats or other animals at this time

This is our second straight year spending the Holidays at the Fern Haus. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Perfect size and location for our family. Too many amenities to list but the home has everything you need for a family setting. Our hosts are awesome in every way. We will be back again.

A beautiful home that had everything we needed. Although the weekend was chilly, we were able to enjoy the backyard and spent some time in the hot tub. Would definitely go back!

Truly everything you need to be comfortable and at home (including making any meals you’d like with the fully stocked kitchen). Cannot recommend this host & property enough.

Everything was as described and Gretchen was an amazing communicator. Our family was very busy because we were in town for a wedding and didn't get to spend that much time here as we would've liked. Nevertheless it was a wonderful home base for us, very comfortable, close to shopping and the airport. Ideal location. Thanks so much to our hosts. With aloha, your friends from Hawaii.

One of our best VRBO stays. The place is absolutely beautiful. The backyard is so tranquil. Beds are comfy. Kitchen is very well stocked. It's clean and spacious and was just amazing! If we're back in the Seattle area, we'd definitely stay again.

This is a great house! Lots of room and the owners are extremely accommodating! The yard is wonderfully pet friendly and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked for the cook in the family and plenty of cookware avaliable. The house is well stocked from towels to garbage bags. We had a great time and loved our visit

We loved every minute at this beautiful home and yard! We stayed for a week with our small dog and it was perfect! I quickly adapted to a morning routine of soaking in the hot tub in the private yard with gorgeous flowers. Very close to the airport, yet a serene location. Gretchen is a very thoughtful host who has quite literally thought of everything you might need. Very well-equipped yet neat and tidy with well organized cabinets and lots of closet space. The beds and couches are very comfortable. Quick, easy drive to Seattle Waterfront. We parked at the Pike Place Parking garage each time at Gretchen’s recommendation. It was so nice to return home to our retreat and oasis at the end of the day. Excellent communication and very helpful host available to answer any questions you might have. We would most definitely stay here again when in Seattle. A top notch stay!

Perfect location and beautiful home!

The Fern House was more beautiful than pictures can really capture. The owners were wonderful to work with and the house and back yard are literally worthy of a magazine! We felt instantly at home and every last detail was perfect. We will be back and we’re sad our time was up. Thank you so much for sharing your slice of heaven with us!

Absolutely Beautiful!

This property blew our socks off! Well appointed, cozy, thoughtful design, and beautiful! The home is stunning! Our family loved all the games and activities available including the hot tub. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into their guests comfort, including the four legged kind (there was a basket of dog toys by the fireplace). The beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet. The gorgeous kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. We loved all the little details like the WiFi connection point and the labels on the light switches. My wife and I loved the decor, especially the bathroom! The back yard was large and had well established plants and a super soft lawn. The patio was so nice to relax on in the evening under the glow of the string lights. I can say more but there’s not enough time. We loved our stay!

This was a perfect location just south of Seattle. The house was great for ADA parents in their 80’s, sons in their 20’s, two small dogs and my self. We all took decoration ideas away from this house. Very modern and comfortable. The backyard was amazing.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Communication was excellent. The home is wonderful. It was clean, more amenities than anticipated, and nicely furnished. The neighborhood is quiet. Highly recommend! Look forward to another stay here!

Wonderful home and great hosts!

Very nice house! The location is great, parking is very easy and the neighborhood seems very friendly. We had a few questions that were answered right away and the host was very heplful. The house is in perfect condition and is very well-kept. New appliances and fixtures. The pictures are very representative, they don't really do it justice, especially the hot tub and back yard areas. They are immaculate! I will definitely try and stay here again!

We love to travel and we especially love to stay in a well cared for property. Georg and I have created a property that we would love to stay at. Beautiful rooms and a big family style kitchen to cook and entertain in. Georg is from Germany and he introduced me to traveling the world so if I can help someone coming to the Seattle Pacific Northwest area have a great home stay experience that makes me happy. I want Fern Haus to be a perfectly enjoyable spot for your stay.

Our neighborhood is very old school! Lots of young families and families that have been here for years. You will see walkers out all day long. We are so conveniently located to almost anywhere in the Seattle area but you feel like you're home. SEA airport is nearby making it a quick trip to and from the airport.

I think we stand out because I've taken the time to make sure you have what you need for a comfortable stay with attention to every detail.
