Wonderful Location!

The Salty Dog has the very best location for ease to the beach! The home has 'lived hard', but is the cleanest beach home we have ever rented...and we have rented many! Salty Dog is decorated nicely, very comfortable and the beach is truly right out the door! We will be returning to Salty Dog for sure!

Great views, very clean, great place to stay, very close to beach, fun games, good bathrooms, outside shower even had hot water. Only 1 downside was the driveway.... nearly got stuck in the sand in the driveway first day there, not much of a driveway established yet very loose sand and we were in a large suburban. A small car will have hell, look to have recent work done so hopefully the driveway is on their to-do list.

I am stunned by the 1 star review. While we had thousands of dollars of gravel put there earlier, but when the neighbors started construction they piled sand there. We keep asking them to move it. But we got a 1 star review - not even a 5 for the property itself, the cleanliness, our communication? This truly affects our rankings in the VRBO system so it hurts pretty badly when we previously had such good reeviews.
