About Linda Denson
I came to Galveston in 1992 and fell in love with the healing sound of the surf, the soft sand, the breathtaking sunsets, the palm trees, the Victorian Architecture, the art galleries, and the Strand shopping. My husband and I remodel beach houses and historical homes and wanted a place extended family could stay when they visit. Galveston is a cultural jewel with a rich history. We are blessed that we can call Galveston Island home.
Linda Denson purchased this House in 1999
Why Linda Denson chose Palm Beach
Our family purchased the beach house as a place Mom and Dad could come stay when they visited. Mom and I totally remodeled this place to be a restful and fun place to stay with GREAT BEDS. Mom is very picky about beds... Our family has restored and remodeled homes for many years. This experience along with my interior design and art background made for a really unique and comfortable beach house. The beach has been a great place to find unique seashells and sharks teeth (but no sharks!) Palm Beach Galveston is almost like having your own private beach.
What makes this House unique
Awesome views from the huge deck. Very relaxing atmosphere. Exquisite underwater-look fish ceramic tile in the kitchen. Comfy beds with high quality soft linens. Hand painted Italian ceramic shell themed dishes, Enough colorful beachy melamine dinnerware for an indoor/outdoor buffet for family and friends. French doors that open up to the deck to enjoy the morning sunrise with your coffee.

Lovely water views, comfy beds and fun time exploring Galveston for the first time with my pups. Greatly enjoyed my time at Linda’s cottage!
We enjoyed staying at this lovely little house on the beach. The location was perfect and we had everything we needed. The furniture was a little run down but everything was very clean. The beach toys and chair and boogie boards were great! Lisa was very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.
Great time. The house was very clean and close to the beach
Great place and location
Great get away, just a few steps away from the beach. Nice, clean property and the air conditioning is very cool and comfortable. Great communication with owner! Thank you Linda, you will be hearing from us again!
Thank you Sue! I look forward to your return visit! Fall and winter are a nice time to visit with great balmy weather...
Wonderful location. Short walk to the beach. Nice deck with views of the ocean. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back next summer!
Wouldn’t book again
Location is great but home is run down. Advertised as a 2/2 but there is only 1 true bedroom. It’s a living room with 2 beds and a curtain to separate. I was disappointed with the home
Thank you for your comments. I am sorry that the house did not meet your expectations. In the description we clearly state the bed layout "'Las Palmas' has two luxurious queen size beds in the large suite-like living room and a sunny private bedroom with pillow top bed ". We make every effort to provide an immaculately clean and comfortable home and always receive compliments on our cleanliness. It is not a brand new home and the salt climate is very rough on the exterior. We do have a exterior paint job on the schedule in the very near future after the busy summer is over so as to not disturb guests. We have also not increased our rates in 5 years in order to keep our terrific beach location affordable for all.
Guests staying a week or longer have access to Galveston Country Club. You pay only your fees for golf, tennis, or food and beverages. Swimming pool, baby pool, and sunset views are priceless!, Moody Gardens and Schlitterbaun just 10 minutes away, Historical Victorian Galveston Island can be viewed via horse drawn carriage, Free shuttle to/from the cruise ship terminal with one week stay.
