The Hippie Palace, A sublime experience with incredible views
The sublime "Hippie Palace" rooftop palapa is a unique space open to the Pacific Coast sea breeze, perfect for outdoor-loving and adventurous travelers. It has three bedrooms; one is a wooden loft with fantastic ocean and jungle views.
It has a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely breakfast bar with a captivating panoramic view.
The colorful "Hippie Terrace" has a comfortable sofa and hammock, a lovely spot for relaxing and capturing the cool Pacific breeze and fantastic sunsets in La Manzanilla.
The space
The beautiful ocean peers through the rustic wood that separates one of the bedrooms, "the cool room," and the kitchen. This bedroom has a full-sized bed with a mosquito canopy. The spiral wooden stairs lead to the cozy wooden Loft, "The traveler's dream," filled with throw pillows and a full-size bed with a mosquito canopy net.
The second bedroom, "Zen Space" Bally-inspired, is outfitted with a queen-sized bed surrounded by trees and a meditation shrine. This bedroom has two windows overlooking the mountains and sliding glass doors with views of the ocean, jungle, and mountains. It also has a sitting area to enjoy wine in the evenings.
The rooftop palapa is your private space. It shares an entrance to the property with the first and second-floor Loft, but it has private access to the rooftop through the spiral stairs. It's equipped with a full kitchen, refrigerator, and microwave oven. The two bedrooms and wooden Loft share a bathroom.
The pool, lounge, and garden areas are shared areas until 9 PM
Other things to note
The internet is reliable, although it might be weak sometimes (Out of my control). The village also might run off water temporarily in the summer. The house has an extra supply of water if needed.
Only one of the bedrooms, "Zen Space." has an air conditioner. The Hippie Palace is an open space without walls; therefore, it is not airconditioned. It does have four industrial fans. Several portable personal air conditioners keep you fresh in the summertime. There is also a potential for mosquitos at night; remember your repellent in the jungle. All the bedrooms have a fan and mosquito nets.
The hippie lounge has an industrial fan that cools the place nicely so you can enjoy the incredible La Manzanilla sunsets.
The check-in window is between 3 PM and 9 PM. Please make sure to arrange with the house manager before arrival.
