Carolina was so helpful. I absolutely love the BEACHFRONT house wow. Perfect for two couples. Kitchen, bbq, pot and pans, balcony, large backyard. Private beach. Cannot get any better. I’m looking forward to staying there again. In the morning we saw a lot different lizards and one snake. Just amazing

We had an amazing Anniversary weekend. The house was clean and very open. The windows facing the ocean were the highlight of our experience. Everything you need is available in the house. We can't recommend it enough. Thank you for a beautiful experience.

So much potential lost in this ill cared for house. Lamp shades in bedroom torn, sink in bathroom had toothpaste spit in it, whole place needs a coat of paint . Cold and uninviting . Walls had dirt on them in places. Outdated except for kitchen .Only thing saving it was ocean view !

Beach Getaway

The house is amazing! Steps to the beach. The views are beautiful and the house is very well equip. We have family in the area and visit often and this house is by far the best rental we have had. Super easy check in and out process and great communication with the owner. I hope we get to stay there again!

Excellent location. Everything else is a matter of personal opinion. I recommend removing the rugs, replacing the furniture, and hiring a new cleaning company.

I give a 10/10. The place was immaculate and beautiful. The host went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. The view of the ocean is from every room in the home and the place is very quiet and serene. I will definitely come back and recommend to my family and friends.

Can't beat walking right out to the beach! Easy to find and near many restaurants and shops. Spacious floor plan. Furniture in good shape tho older. Swivel chair needs a good cleaning - especially on the arm area. Interior clean. Kitchen was better stocked than most. Would be helpful to have a few larger serving size bowls for meals. Exterior of windows need cleaning (I do understand it is hard to keep clean on a beach with high winds.) Overall - very pleased and enjoyed our stay.

The balcony overlooked the beach as well as the main bedroom and the living area. However, the seagrass/vegetation needs to be cleaned up and cut back. The trail to the beach was narrow and over grown and the vegetation was much too tall. It obstructs much of the view.Beach had significant erosion from recent prolonged rains and there was a 3 foot drop that made access to the water or even walking on the beach difficult. Beds are very comfortable. Pillows need replacement.House is spacious and clean in most areas.A few areas needed a bit more attention to detail.Lampshade in the main bedroom was broken.Items in the kitchen were broken, marble cutting broken in half. The couch needs replacing. It is well worn, uncomfortable and dirty. We covered it with sheets to sit on it.The host of the property was very welcoming, helpful and attentive.

BLACK MOLD ISSUE

Do not stay here. Black mold present in the home. Host does not want to resolve the issue with the mold nor with the guests. Wish I can submit a photo. I am opening a case with VRBO to get a refund as well as remove this home from VRBO. Cannot believe they allow people to reside there with black mold…

We reached out to this guest twice during their stay asking if there were any issues or if anything was needed to make their stay more comfortable. We heard nothing from them until after they checked out and chose to raise a complaint about black mold after the fact in an attempt to get their entire stay compensated. We had one small patch of moisture above the HVAC unit which has since been repaired (after having a contractor observe the situation). I DO NOT recommend this guest

Beautiful location and oeaceful

Overall this place was in a great location to relax with a nearly private beach. We enjoyed this part of it a lot and would likely come back if we were in town. The place itself needed a few things addressed. 1. Kitchen counters had crumbs on them when we arrived and coffee make didn’t work for us. ( Simple fix with the cleaning people I guess) 2. We had some questions on the property in advance which took a bit to hear back on and we were thinking over leaving a day early and were unsure about checkout process. We did hear back the morning of departure though. Nice smaller beach house is a private location, after a couple small corrections this place would be ideal.

That was the first time we received any complaint about the coffee machine and the appliance was immediately replaced after your stay. Disappointed/Disgusting

The Carpet in the bedrooms is disgusting with stains throughout. The furniture was not palatable, we had to go buy blankets to cover the couches before we could consider sitting on them. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean except for the oven which was very dirty. The yard is not kept, not irrigated and is a sandy mess. Impossible not to drag dirt into this house. But, the location is excellent and the beach beautiful. No chance I’d stay there again unless this place is updated and remodeled.

Hi Joseph, I am very sorry to hear that the stay did not live up to your expectations. However, I wish you would have mentioned something during your stay so that our team could remedy any issue. We had the couch professionally cleaned the day after your checkout and would have happily worked with you to find a temporary solution. Also, it makes sense that dirt/sand tracks into the house as it is located directly on the beach

Just needs some love and updates!

Suited our needs! Very spacious family/kitchen area with excellent ocean views! Could use some better patio furniture for balcony sitting to view sunrise! (Somewhere to set coffee too)Kitchen is lacking dishes and cookware! We had one skillet to make breakfast and had To use a small pot to make eggs.The bedroom fans are so loud and noisy you can only use low speed-property host did say they’d fix them when we left.Lots of light switches don’t work-lightbulbs burned out. The family room furniture needs cleaned/updated. There was black mold in the half bath. The host said they weren’t aware of it. The short walk to the private beach was amazing! Beach chairs provided-total bonus! A wagon would be nice to haul everything out there though! We would go back if the house was updated/furniture was replaced or truly cleaned.

Great location; Disappointing House

Our experience at this house is a bit mixed. The location is excellent and if you plan on spending all of your time away from the house, this is a great option. However, if you plan on spending time indoors, cooking meals and or hanging out in the evenings, I'd consider looking elsewhere. The entry is gross and smells like the 40 year old carpeting that adorns the stairs going up to the unit. The windows are all non-functional, and there is black mold growing in the small hallway to the bedrooms. The laundry room smells of mold and mildew and the kitchen is not well appointed. The cupboards are mostly bare, and the few dishes, mugs, cups, and pots and pans that were there, were acquired from the local thrift store and in very bad condition. The view of the ocean is largely blocked by foliage, but would be terrific if they cut that back and the furniture on the deck is rusted through and unusable. The bedrooms themselves were nice enough and the beds comfortable, but the toilets both required work while we were there. All in all, very disappointing and we were kicking ourselves for not reading the other reviews before booking.

I wish you would have reached out during your stay and we could have helped address this for you and your guests. The Seagrapes have since been trimmed back to reveal the full ocean view that one would desire from an oceanfront property. The patio furniture has also been replaced

Ocean Paradise

The house is very clean and has everything you need for a fun stay. Starting with the beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean right outside. We watched the most beautiful sunrises from the table at breakfast. Our group wanted to fish and you can’t beat having the shore right down a short path. Our grandson played in the sand while the guys tried their luck at fishing. Our daughter found some beautiful shells to collect as souvenirs. We had some delicious meals cooked in the kitchen and at some of the local restaurants. When the weather didn’t cooperate we were able to visit nearby parks for fishing with calmer seas. Some friends who live close by visited and we all had a wonderful time. The house was comfortable and we slept well. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure was great after hours on the beach. The balcony provided the perfect views of the water and sun. The appliances all functioned well and it was helpful having a full sized washer and dryer since none of the boys could keep their clothes dry. The tile was easy to keep clean and our dogs enjoyed napping on the cool surface. The AC worked well and plenty of ceiling fans made sure we were comfortable at all times. The neighborhood was nice, though the construction next door was a little loud our first two days, it was easy to escape to the beach. My family wants to go back for another stay next year. This owner did a wonderful job providing everything visitors need for a pleasant stay in this cozy house.
