The Drift Loft | Downtown + Game Room + Parking

Welcome to our cozy downtown urban oasis! This modern industrial apartment radiates a laid-back, beachy vibe that will instantly put you at ease. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day exploring the city or attending a festival. With a fully equipped kitchen, you'll have everything you need to feel at home. Steps away from restaurants, cafes, and bars, and one block from festivals and parades. Soak up the local culture! This apartment is the perfect base for your adventure.

The building was originally built around the 1940's and was owned by the United States Postal Service. It was renovated into 5 modern industrial apartments in 2022, that range in size and still has the DMS Mail Management sign in the exterior. The building includes a shared lobby/game room, a fully fenced back yard, and a parking lot. This apartment has one bedroom with a queen bed and TV & one full bathroom, as well as a fully stocked kitchen and living room with a workspace. It also included a washer and dryer.

*The building is located across from the Rosa Parks center and train station in downtown Lafayette & is within walking distance of everything in the downtown area: coffee shops, restaurants, museums, nitelife, art walk, etc. It's located one block from the main stage for Festival Internationale, downtown live, etc. It's within 2 blocks of Mardi Gras parades. It's the perfect location for travelers to experience a little bit of our city.

*The preferred mode of travel here is Uber or Lyft. Bicycles work in the downtown area, and we do have a bike rack in the back yard. Bike rental is available at Hub City Cycles at 501 Jefferson St.

*Food delivery options: Doordash, Uber Eats. Grocery delivery: Shipt

*Within 1-2 blocks: Reve Coffee, Jim Deggy's Pizza & Brewery, Dyer's Cafe, Central Pizza, The Flats, Lafayette Science Museum, Children's Museum, Parc Sans Souci

Hidden gem

Upon arrival i was really impressed then to step in was amazing . I stayed in flat B very beautiful comfortable. Had everything you needed in kitchen area even had a share closet how sweet and thoughtful . They even texted to check to see if it was anything i needed. My stay was amazing wasn't ready to leave . Like a home away from home. The street before is place to hang out was very nice atmosphere . Step away.from the flat. There's even a police station to ensure safety. 20 🌟 for me love the flat will book again .
