Close to the beach!

Great place to stay! We were please to find a place that was dog friendly and so close to the beach. The only downside was the shared laundry. We used the washer, but it didnt spin - leaving our clothes completely wet. The dryer worked well, but we had to wring out our clothes first. Even so, this place is a winner!

The apt was modern minimalistic and clean. Easy access to the beach, which was very nice. However, the kitchen was minimally stocked. Basic items like baking dishes, serving dishes and wine glasses were non existent. Making it very tough to prepare meals. There was no dishwasher, which is OK but not even a dish rack for drying. One paper thin dish towel and no paper towels. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were hard and flat. Linens were thread bare and kept falling off the mattress. The biggest issue was the lack of parking. Only 1 spot for each apt that sleeps 6. Not even street parking for a second vehicle. Public beach parking is daytime only. We had to park several miles away at barefoot landing. That meant a trip there every day to check on the car and move if needed. Others staying here had the same issues. Looking around the neighborhood it seems most rentals had cars packed in like sardines. I would think twice before staying in this area again.

The location is perfect right across the beach, the unit has everything needed for a comfortable sleep. We never heard much noise from the road or the guests in other units. I would recommend this place to others!

Unit was clean and updated. Stairs are a problem for pets and older people. Proximity to street scary to unload , load and for pets..no dishwasher ..minimum towels Would have been ok but shared laundry was dirty and had outdated appliances. Shower pressure was very poor. I told the owner I would not write a poor review but in my messages to her she offered no compensation for these issues and her responses were quite insufficient. I left two days early as I was not comfortable esp w the laundry situation. There is no way that she could have rectified the laundry area. It needs a redo. I am a frequent vrbo customer . I thought it important that potential clients are aware as these concerns are valuable to others.
