Navy Harbor is the perfect getaway for families, a group of couples, or a fun friends' trip! This home offers the Florida sunshine cascading through the windows and provides a light and airy atmosphere. The moment that you walk in the front door you will be taken back by the amazing views of the screen enclosed cool blue pool, and the vibrant green turf in the backyard. There are many spots to relax around the pool while enjoying the warmth of the Florida sunshine. Escape the sun under the gazebo and enjoy a meal from the grill on the outdoor dining set or relax with a cold drink. Play a game of cornhole or light up darts on the turf in the backyard. Enjoy the ambiance of the color changing pool lights or the solitude of the glow of the lights under the gazebo. You will feel like you are at a private resort when you stay at our home!

The Master Suite has a king size bed and a twin daybed. Lounge in bed and watch your favorite movie or sport on the 55" Smart Tv. Enjoy the Master Bath with a spacious walk-in shower. The walk-in closet will accommodate all your essentials belongings. You will have your own private view of the pool and backyard. Enjoy your morning coffee or watch the sunrise. The 2nd bedroom has a navy and white nautical feel and a spectacular view of the pool and gazebo. This room has a queen size bed, a dresser and a large mirror for your convenience. The 3rd bedroom is gray and white. It has a beachy feel. There is a twin bed over a full-size bunk bed with a ladder. There are drawers located under the bottom bunk for additional storage for your belongings. There is a comfy rug as you step foot out of bed each morning. The Master Suite has a large countertop space for getting ready for a night out and a large walk-in shower. The main bath has a tub and shower and a door straight to the pool!

The spacious living room boasts a 55" Smart Tv with comfortable seating to watch a movie or your favorite show. The sofa doubles as a place to sit and relax, it also opens up to a full-size bed with a 5" memory foam mattress. The open concept floor plan assures that everyone is a part of what is happening in the main area of the home.
The kitchen contains a full dining set as well as seating at the counter and a counter height table with stools. You will enjoy seating for at least 10 people.

The game room is filled with things to do! There is air hockey, foosball, giant Jenga, darts and many board games for all ages.

There are 2 kayaks for you to enjoy at the local park...Spring Lake Park. It is just 2 blocks away. You can use the 2-wheel carts to transport the kayaks. Don't forget to grab a provided life jacket and paddle on your way out. There are 2 bikes for your use to explore the nearby parks and bike paths. A tire pump is available for your convenience.

Remove personal items and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please put the garbage/recycling cans at the end of the driveway.

All trash/recycling must be placed in the appropriate can and placed at the curb on Tuesday night or prior to checkout.
No smoking, no vaping and no drugs are allowed in our home or on our property. No exceptions. An additional $350 cleaning fee will be assessed.
You will be immediately removed from the property without refund if you turn off the WIFI.

2 week stay at Navy Harbor

House is clean and modern. All amenities needed for our stay were present. We enjoyed the small pool in the screened area behind the house. Owner was very responsive. We enjoyed the many bike paths and golf options in the area. Many great restaurants in the vicinity. Popular gulf coast beaches weren't accessible due to ongoing hurricane clean up. We enjoyed watching the sunset at Ponce de Leon park and wish we'd found it sooner. Highly recommend the propery for a stay in Port Charlotte.

Calm, clean home base

What a bargain. The value is just plain worth it We needed pet friendly. (The yard isnt fully fenced but is enclosed) I hope the owner changes her policy on weight restriction. 3 bedrooms. The master has its own private exit to deck. The patio doors have an extra lock on them. This was a really nice touch. The house is clean, simple, and a perfect home base. It is unfortunate that VRBO let the rating stay with the disgruntled person. It was not deserved. This is a secret clean house. Besides your personal stuff, i dont know what else i would bring. We did bring extra sheets to put over furniture. The grill, outdoor eating is outside of the pool cage. Mosquitoes werent to much of an issue. Morning sun stay on pool area until about 2 pm. Then there is a ton of shade and it makes you want to hang out. Lots of places to eat drink. Chubbyz, gatorrzz, charlie fixtro brewery, dannys food truck, codys, ... then punta gorda right across bridge. There is a local small beach about a 15 minute bike ride.. In summary. This a great home base. Easy access. Things to do for everyone in the evening hours. Small but refreshing pool. The extra bathroom has an outdoor pool access. Enjoy.

Left early due to state of property

This house needs a few key things before it’s re-rented: An exterminator, professional cleaning service and a heater for the pool being at the top of the list. We Intended to stay at Carolyn’s house for 2 weeks and had to leave early due to the state of the property. The thermostat kept losing power causing for condensation to build up on the windows and creating a very muggy home - not condusive for an infant, toddler and someone recovering from chemo and radiation. When I asked the property owner to rectify the situation, she said a handyman would come over - he never showed up to fix the situation. Upon arrival we found the glass stove top cracked, only allowing for 1/2 of the stove to be used. When I reached out, she said she knew but didn’t attempt to communicate that with us prior to arrival. We killed multiple cockroaches and there were a ton of carpenter ants in the bedroom with the queen bed. Both bathrooms had mold in the showers, and the windows/windowsills were crusted with dirt and grime. The seal at the entry way was 1/2 ripped off. Finally, the smoke detectors kept going off at 3am, waking up a house full - including the toddler and infant. She didn’t even make an attempt to have this issue fixed. The listing didn’t disclose that there wasn’t a pool heater - essential to a January rental in Florida. I do not recommend anyone stay at her property until significant changes are made.

Stayed here with family for Easter weekend. Carolyn was responsive and great! Property was perfect for our family vacation. Outside entertaining area was perfect for relaxing and the kids. Property is near a lot to explore!

As you enter our neighborhood you will notice that it is quiet and easily accessible to many local parks and intercoastal waterways. Our home is close to restaurants, almost every store you can think of and many local attractions.

What makes this property unique

Our property is surrounded by dense vegetation on all sides, making it the most secluded lot in the neighborhood. We have added turf along the back side of the pool for outdoor games like Cornhole and light up Lawn Darts. There is a gazebo with a dining area and gas grill for your outdoor enjoyment, rain or shine.
The game room is equipped with a foosball table, air hockey, darts, giant Jenga, as well as other games. We have 2 bikes and 2 kayaks for use during your stay.
Our home is the perfect coastal escape in SW Florida! The open layout gives you ample space to relax and watch your favorite movie or show with a view of the backyard and pool or make your favorite meal in the spacious kitchen.
