Steps from the water, sandy beach, park, marina, pier, bike path, Bear Creek and the charming village of Petoskey. Our one bedroom/ one bath recently updated kitchen upstairs is perfect for a couples or small family getaway. Short drive or bike ride to Charlevoix and Harbor Springs, 2 miles to the Odawa Casino and near winter sports.

Our home was recently renovated and furnished for your comfort.

This listing is for the upstairs unit of our home and includes a full length lake facing deck, kitchen, dining, living space and 1 bedroom, 3/4 bathroom, laundry.

The downstairs is also a vacation rental with 2 bedrooms + den/ 2 baths - Listing #346253.

We loved Petosky and the location of this property was perfect. It is an easy walk into town and to the walking/biking trails. Plus an easy drive to other great locations to visit. Enjoyed the lake view. The property itself was very cute and with the windows and skylights it felt very open. We’d stay here again

Super location!

This property has a wonderful view of the lake and is within walking distance to downtown Petoskey. It was clean & nicely furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was very spacious.

Great stay!

This was our 2nd year renting this property. Such a perfect location and a great place to relax between all the places we like to visit in town. Highly recommend JoJo’s Cookies just off of 31 while in town and it’s just down the road from a beautiful park and playground overlooking Lake Michigan that our kiddo loved to play at during our stay.

I think this is our 4th stay so obviously we like the property. Beautiful view, wonderful location and great layout for two adults. We did just fine with the stairs this visit (both 71 y.o.)

Perfect location for bicyclists and walkers

The best view of the lake and fun watching folks at the park. Very easy access to bike trail and uptown Petoskey. Super cozy.

Great location. Easy walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants through the waterfront park. Pedestrian tunnel from the park to downtown has a beautiful mural. No major roads to cross. Large green space ( part of the waterfront park) is across from the house and close to the Petoskey break wall.The Petoskey Wheelway is right out the back of the property. The sidewalk visible in the picture is the WheelWay.

Perfect Petoskey Accommodation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming property in Petoskey. As advertised, there are lovely views and it's a great location! It's a very short walk to the village shops, there are well-maintained bicycle paths, and there are several other northern Michigan towns a short drive away. We will return next year!

Family funeral

A family member who lives in Petoskey passed away so we needed a quick place to stay on last minute’s notice. My husband found this place as last resort since everywhere was booked! It’s a very cute place and just what we needed. Being near Lake Michigan is always beautiful. ***** beach towels would have been nice 😉

One of our favorite places

This is our regular spot for a fall retreat. It is a delightful location and the property is top tier. The owners are easy to deal with and very helpful. We were a bit late this year, but discovered places around Petoskey and Harbor Springs that still sported some glorious color. My wife and I look forward to being a bit earlier next year.

Apt. was smaller than our previous rental but was sufficient. Everything turned out well. Location was great. Our downstairs neighbors were friendly and around our same age.

Beautiful Views and Great Location

The location was absolutely fabulous. The views of Little Traverse Bay and access to the park and water were steps away. You can walk to the downtown area or quickly get onto 31 to head to Charlevoix, Harbor Springs, or Traverse City. The only reason I gave it a 4 vs 5 was the furniture. The couch in particular was too uncomfortable to sit on to visit or watch TV... the springs could be felt and the slant of the cushions to the floor made it difficult to sit back. The mattress in the sleeper sofa was so thin it made a good nights sleep impossible. We ended up bringing chairs in from the deck to use inside the home. Other than that, the place was wonderful and well equipped and a great location for a week up north!

Thank you for your comments. We ordered a new sofa last year and are still waiting on the delivery. It has been delayed due to Covid 19.

Upper Unit Only

PROS: Great location, Beautiful view of the Bay, Short walk to all downtown Petoskey establishments, Walking/Biking Trail right out the door as well as the Marina, and unit had some nice decor updates in kitchen and living area. CONS: Interior rugs looked dirty and not vacuumed, light bulbs blown out in refrigerator and bathroom, shower door broken/unstable, bed linen yellowed/old looking, dusty/dirty wood floor in bedroom area around bed, blinds missing panels and difficult to work. We were disappointed that owners knew about broken shower door but admitted to holding off to fix it until after the season. We are paying for a fully working, in order, best presented unit. Poor. Also surprising not enough attention given beforehand to make sure everything was working properly such as the light bulbs, blinds, etc. To sum up.....Location was splendid, delivery was lacking.

We are sorry to hear you were not pleased with your accommodations. Just to clarify we were not aware the shower door was broken, we did say we were going to remodel the bathroom in fall. The shower door was working prior to the beginning of summer and no previous guest had mentioned there was an issue, when I offered to have our contractor come out and repair the door the next day you stated that it wasn't necessary. We take great pride in our homes and they are in great condition prior to the summer season.

We are Jeff and Leslie, retired professionals who love to travel and enjoy live. We have four homes (located in Galveston, TX, Northern Michigan - Petoskey, Southern CA - Ventura and a condo in NYC on the upper west side) all of our homes are set up as vacation rentals. We bounce between our homes based on seasons and rental schedules. During the summer we works as aquitic and waterfront directors at over-night youth summer camp in the Poconos.

During spring and fall we typically plan a 6 - 8 weeks international trip, which usually includes 30 days of cruising. When we are traveling you may get a response back from our daughter-in[law Melissa.

During the summer of 2008 on a road trip to an annual conference in Lexington, KY we drove through this unknown to us, placed called Petoskey. The 26 mile bike trail on the lake looked very inviting but we didn't have the time to stop and enjoy it. The next summer on out way to the conference we blocked out a day to rent a bike and check-out the trail. At the start of the ride we noticed a 'for sale' sign on a house on the lake. That night we scheduled an appointment to walk through the house before we headed South. We went on to the conference and as soon as it was over we drove back up and sign the paperwork. Instead of buying a mug we bought a house. We were living in California at the time and all of our family and friends thought we were crazy to be buying a something in Northern Michigan. That was before they came for a visit - they now understand . . .
